  • macs r gay

  • @EurZa Actually it worth it for the price for the mac book pro base on the tech and the style and the slim. Plus Mac Os is more durable than window Os. I love both xD

  • do you think i can run this on an ati radeon x700 1 gb ram pentium m 750 (1.9) ghz

PS: i can run cod 4 maxed out 4x anti aliasing and 16x anisotropic filtering

  • Wtf??? F*cking macbook... -_-

  • My acer laptop that i got for 240 off ebay runs crysis better than this

  • @paulow200 ha ha everyone knows than apple are f*ucking douchebags that sells their products 3 times that they vault

  • The new macbook pros come packaged with a dual core i7 and a 330m (a slow graphics card) for at least $1,000 more than the machine's worth.

  • @777Sir wrong...not at least $1000, but at least $2,200 for a macbook pro. Insane isn't it? MACS = RIP OFF

  • @xy274 I found out today that my Toshiba Qosmio (laptop) is faster than almost all the Mac desktops (iMac, not the Mac Pros) for $700 less. Yeah, it's pretty great.

  • Could you tell me the system requirements to run crisis with little to no lag?

  • My shit laptop wouldn't even reach 0.5 FPS with those settings

  • Well it's better than my shit laptop

  • can you run crysis without bootcamp on just the mac system?

  • i got a 3 year old macbook that can barely play cod2, lol, but it is sad :(

  • What game can i play on a Macbook Os X (white labtop) Shooting games or games Which has ranks?

  • Lmao thousands of dollars to run 1680x1050 medium settings at 10fps, with I'm guessing no AA either. Nice paperweight.

For the same amount of money you can buy a PC that will run 1920x1080 V.High settings 16xQ AA at close to 60fps. So you paid the extra money for what? A desktop theme? LOL. Fail on Mac noobs.

  • @runevirage you're trying to call me out for playing a high performance game on a first generation macbook pro manufactured in 2006 (which i obtained for free) running in a core 2 duo. back than, that was a really fast laptop. this is 2010. new macbook pro's come packed with an i7 and plenty of power to run the game at the same setting you're describing now. think more.

  • @DrayneGames Crysis is the most GPU-driven game every made. It scales 1:1 with GPU power. Mac products use out-dated, gimped GPUs that are priced higher than the newest most powerful ones. Get the connection? The new Macbook Pros would still run this game like crap.

It's already laughable that you think 1680x1050 medium settings 10fps no AA is anything more than a pile of garbage, even for the time, but you also think that the new Macbook Pros can play this game any better.

  • @DrayneGames I think he's jealous =) macs rule, face it...

  • @MPX4132 lol U kind kidding me, that grapich sucks, U can see it in the film here, that suck hard, i dot 10 times bettre in my dell

  • @cmdq1337 well i have a mac and it's better than my sister's computer... (HP Pavilion Elite M9400F [windows 7]) no joke... I remember i would use to hate macs just cuz they had the old G3s in my Elementary School long time ago and they were super slow!!!! but the new ones are real nice... P.S - Believe me...

  • @cmdq1337 iMac can beat any PC running Windows any day of the week, btw, its "... those graphics..." not "... that grapich..." use Safari - From apple, to check your misspells =)

  • @DrayneGames the new macbook pros, as well as imacs and the mac pro, are still using low-mid range hardware. You should not hardline with any particular brand just because you invested a significant amount in it. Open your eyes, look into the custom build market and see how much apple has short-changed you. You don't necessarily have to use Windows if you don't want to.

  • @DrayneGames lol dual core i7s! not even quad core!

  • @DrayneGames I salute you Drayne.

  • @DrayneGames not true, macs aren't made for gaming.

People who say they are great gaming computers are almost as stupid as those that call them useless and over priced.

They are amazing for media production, just not gaming.

  • @DrayneGames Pwnage

  • @DrayneGames I wish the 2010 Macbooks came with an i7, my 15in has a outdated core2duo. its a 2010 version.

  • Comment removed

  • @DrayneGames I see were your coming from man. But even now you can get a way better bang for your buck with a gaming pc. That's nothing new. Once that changes I might even buy a mac.

  • @DrayneGames DUDE, THINK. This laptop was VERY EXPENSIVE, and crysis came out in 2007. That's like half/1 year later! A very expensive machine SHOULD be able to run such a game with decent settings! I mean, the HD 5xxx series were released more than a year ago. Can they run the newest games? YES! Max settings, smoothly? ABSOLUTELY!

  • @DrayneGames There's no way in hell a fucking macbook will run crysis at very high with 16Q aa and close to 60fps, no chance in hell.

My laptop np8662 (Q9300 4Ghz, 4GB Ram, Nvidia 260GTX) can run this game on high in 1680x1050, no aa and max fps is like 30.

It's true what they say about macs you pay for the design NEVER the actual hardware.

Get a sager or clevo for half the price you're paying paying for a macbook or alienware.

  • @DrayneGames dont be mad but...even with same specs games are better configured with windows than mac..with the same settings u got more fps on windows than mac :)

  • @runevirage ur a dumb fuck this is the first gen macbook back in 2005 this macbook came out i have one and the 2010 one this one he has in the video if you put linux on it it will run over 60 fps maxed so do ur reaserch

  • @AwwC00L LOL. You've never seen a single game benchmark have you? Even a Radeon HD 5970 can't run Crysis at 60fps max (it runs it at around ~40-45fps), and that's over 10 times stronger than what's in the newest Macbook Pros. For the price of a Macbook Pro you can get a PC with two Radeon HD 5970s, or three GTX 480s, that of which will be able to play Crysis maxed at 60fps. Since Macs are always ~4 years behind, you'll have to wait until 2014 and pay triple the price to play Crysis maxed, sorry.

  • @runevirage Your exagerating a bit. Macs arent 4 years behind Pcs although they are a bit behind.

  • @runevirage Your wrong a PC costing only a couple grand wont max out Cryis with 16 aa. For that you'll have to spend around 4 grand.

  • @batmanhorse You can buy a Tri-SLI GTX 480 or 5970 CF system for $2000, so yes you can. The only PCs that cost more than $2,000 are those with the above, along with EE processors and complex watercooling units.

Macs are 4 years behind PCs. They only just switched from Core 2 Duo (2005-2006 tech) a few months ago. The GT 330M is a 256MB graphics card, circa 2004, and the 512MB version is circa 2006-2007. When Macs aren't laughably outdated, they're triple-quadruple the price of the same PC.

  • @runevirage Firstly 3 gtx 480s would alone almost cost $2000 and then you need a tri SLI MoBo, CPU and not to mention a bloody big power supply. Oh and also the core 2 only just got superseded by the Intel core series which macs have adopted in their high end models and DX11 GPUs have been on the shelf for less than a year.

Just for the record I am also a PC person

  • @batmanhorse Core i7 has been out for 2 years. DX11 GPUs have been out for less than a year, but that's irrelevant since Macs use OpenGL anyway. The fact is, Apple provides extremely low end hardware and charges their customers huge premiums for them. If they actually cared about value, they would be using DX11 GPUs based on their power alone. Either way, my point stands, Macs are always either 4 years behind or triple the price when they are up to date.

  • @runevirage I don't disagree that macs are overpriced I was simply trying to say that your exaggerating a little. Macs are not always four years behind and neither are they always triple the price when their not behind. That is an utterly ludicrous statement.

  • @batmanhorse Except they are. I just gave examples.

  • @runevirage No you didnt, you said core i7s are 2 years old, again 2 years not 4. Also openGL and DirectX are different things that all video cards in PCs and Macs use and Macs are only one generation behind in video cards.

  • @batmanhorse Macs have only just switched to Core i7, before that they were using Core 2 duo which is 4 years old. The $1,000 Macbook still is. In terms of graphics, there's no comparison. PC laptops are running powerful DX11 cards while Mac is running what are essentially HTPC cards at this point. Nvidia has been recycling its G92 core for years in the form of low level derivatives; this is essentially anything under X50 in their lineup (X=series). 8800M --> 97/9800M --> GT240M --> GT330M.

  • @runevirage Irrelevant that nvidia have been recycling which is true but macs also offer the ATI radeon 4xxx series. And even if core 2 is 4 years old i7 is only two years old thus meaning that PCs have only been using core i7s for 2 years more than macs.

  • @batmanhorse And when looking at comparable hardware the price is about double to triple if not more. My point still stands.

  • @batmanhorse And Nvidia recycling is not irrelevant because it implies that the hardware is weak, which it is.

  • @runevirage so your saying that you can get a pc that is equivalent to a $2000 mac for less than a grand, i don't think so. Also it irrelevant that Nvidia recycled their Gpus because its still the previous generation as is the ATI radeon 4xxx series that macs also offer. They are only one generation older than what PC manufacturers offer not 4 years. Why must you insist on arguing about stupid things such as these.

  • @batmanhorse Yes you can. You're clearly not very familiar with hardware if you think you can't. It is not irrelevant that Nvidia recycled its G92 core because the top-end Macbook basically performs like something from 2007 GPU-wise. The 4xxx series that Macs offer are low-mid end, and in configurations that, as said before, are triple the price. Why must you insist on ignoring facts? Or is it that you simply can't comprehend them in the first place, which is what I suspect.

  • @runevirage there not triple the price! as for the low end 4xxx cards what about the 4870 that you can buy for macs? For god sake, Im a PC person but your being ridiculous.

  • @batmanhorse 4870 is a mid-end card that sells for around ~$150 now. They're considered for ~$600-700 PCs. Only Mac Pros are able to use them and they start at $2,500 (the model with 4870 is $2,700, and is still lacking in the areas of RAM and HDD space at only 3GB and 640GB respectively). You can buy a liquid cooled, tri-SLI GTX 480 PC with that money (check Newegg). Anything else for me to easily bust or would you prefer to keep wasting my time?

  • @runevirage show me a liquid cooled tri sli gtx 480 comp for $2500, give me the link and ill happily admit you win. 4870 card is mid end now but for its generation its high end and not four years behind. I agree PCs are better value but I'm sick off your ridiculous exaggerating and your lack of knowledge.

  • @batmanhorse 3x GTX 480 = $1500 Windows = $100 Processor = $200 Mobo = $100 Mem = $100 Case = $150 HDD+Optical Drive = $150 Liquid Cooling = $100 Power Supply = $100 = $2500. Check on Newegg for prices, as I've said before. I have not exaggerated at all, I've demonstrated my point over and over. All you've done is shoot yourself in the foot repeatedly. Not sure if you're delusional or just plain stupid.
  • @runevirage your an idiot! a tri sli mobo for 100 bucks. wow. a 200 dollar processor with that rig will cause bottlenecks. 100 dollar ddr3 mem. give me some of that shit. power supply 100BUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for tri 480s. YOU ARE INSANE. YOU SIR ARE AN ABSOLUTE FOOL.

  • @batmanhorse The only thing off was the mobo. You can get a Tri-SLI one for $300, bringing the total to $2700, the same price as the Mac with only a 4870 (approx. 6-8x the performance).

A 200 dollar processor (for example, Core i5-750) will bottleneck...at 170fps with such a strong GPU setup, with more demanding games such as Crysis still pushing the GPUs. Games only need 60fps. Clearly I'm dealing with a complete novice here, I may as well try to make a goldfish understand Greek.

  • @runevirage Go to a PC hardware forum and tell them you can get a tri sli gtx 480 PC for $2500 because quite frankly I am sick of telling you obvious facts. YOU CANNOT GET A TRI SLI GTX 480 SYSTEM FOR ANYWHERE CLOSE TO $2500. DO YOU UNDERSTAND. THIS IS NOT AN ARGUMENT IT IS A FACT. if your so confident that you can go and buy one you dumbass. You wont because YOU CANT.

  • @batmanhorse Prices and specs are facts. You knowing nothing about hardware and screaming like an idiot is called ignorance. Maybe you should start going to some PC hardware forums because even dual GTX 480 systems are not uncommon amongst enthusiasts. The only reason people don't go for 3x SLI is because a) scaling is bad and b) power consumption is high. I don't really know what else to say to you, it is clear you have no knowledge of this area.

  • @runevirage I know enthusiasts get nice systems THEIR ENTHUSIASTs . they spend al ot of money on their PC. Yes they do get tri sli system because the scaling on nvidia gpus is very good. Your prices are not facts you saying cpu-200 is NOT A FACT. Your just talking shit. Give me actual parts and AGAIN go to a pc forum and ask what money you will need to buy a tri SLI gtx 480 system!

  • @batmanhorse Since you appear to have no knowledge of hardware prices or sites like Newegg, GTX 480 x3 = 1500 Core i5 750 = 200 Asrock P55 Deluxe/MSI Big Bang Trinergy = 150/300 Samsung SP F3 1TB = 75 Optical Drive = $20 Antec 1200W = 250 G.Skill 8GB DDR3 = 200 HAF 932 = 150 Windows = 100 Total ~ $2700 - 2900 Mac Pro "Quad Core Xeon 2.66ghz" = Core i7 920 2.66Ghz 4870 1TB HDD 8GB DDR3 etc. Total = $3050 Let me guess, now you're going to get confused about the worth of the Xeon.
  • @runevirage Can you please take this up with a hardware forum your wrong and I'm sick of telling you. So again don't comment take your shit up with someone else because frankly I don't give a damn.

  • @batmanhorse

    - You have failed to attack my point at all. Ironically, most of your examples don't even "require" countering as it should be obvious that they only shoot yourself in the foot, but I've done so anyway. I have also provided both the numbers and specs that you seem to need, repeatedly

    - You appear to be totally unaware of common prices for computer parts ($200 for Windows? No such thing as a $200 processor? What?)

And you call me wrong. Go back to playing solitaire on your Dell.

  • @runevirage Hello faggot boy your so cool you cunt your wrong your wrong your wrong runercunt you faggot your wrong all you prices are puff by about 700 dollars the total of that computer would cost 7000 dollars hahahahahahahahaaha faggot

  • @runevirage nah bro ill play crysis on my core i7 rig wit my 5870 yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh suck my dick motherfucker

  • @batmanhorse My initial point was Macs are either years behind or triple the price when they aren't years behind. All you've done so far is SUPPORT my point with each of your examples, because of your ignorance of hardware. As for the prices?

    Newegg-->Memory-->Scroll down.

    Newegg-->Power Supplies-->Scroll down.

    etc.

    Too hard for you, goldfish?

  • @runevirage Your so wrong. Whats this scroll down business anyway? Understand that if you have 3 gtx 480s then your gonna need a beast psu not some pussy 100 dollar one. Same goes for memory, CPU and everything. You can get a nice i7 imac pro 27 inch for 2 and a bit grand. Sure you get get a more powerful gaming pc for that but keep in mind the price of 27inch screen as well. So far what you have said is sort of right but you have been grossly exaggerating.

  • @batmanhorse You can get an 1000-1200W PSU for about $200, so I'm not really that far off. You keep picking on minor technicalities that make absolutely no difference to my argument, is that the best you can do?

The 27" i7 Mac Pro is a joke; it's powered by a Mobility 4850. That GPU is way below even mid-end and would have trouble playing at 1080p with 0-low AA, let alone games at its native res of 1440p. $2,000 machine good for web browsing and 3-4 year old games. Poor design is poor.

  • @runevirage graphics isnt everything. Many dont play games on their PC. besides with you saying that you can get a tri sli 480 system for 2 and a bit grand you can only get some shitty monitor which is complete overkill.

  • @batmanhorse In addition if you want to talk about prices,

Dell U2711: Same specs as the Apple monitor except with more inputs, and without the awful gloss = $1,000.

The other $1,000 can be spent to easilyi match or exceed the rest of the specs (with modern tech, while providing room for upgradeability unlike the iMac).

Their NEWEST computers are using 2-year old tech. Knowing Apple they won't refresh their line for another 2 years either, while continuing to overcharge for it.

  • @runevirage Their newest computers are not using 2 year old tech except for gpu. Dickehead, PCs newest CPUs are still i7s and xeons. The other grand wont exceed the mac specs, keep in mind windows 7 alone cost a couple hundred bucks.

  • @batmanhorse You provide too many errors for me to point out in a 500 char youtube post.

    - Windows 7 is $95, not "a couple hundred bucks"

    - One grand will exceed Mac specs, easily. You can get a 5870 Core i5 rig with that.

    - NEC EA231WMI - 1080p IPS monitor for $300. Mac Pro model doesn't include monitor either, by the way.

    - Core i7 920 has been available at $200 for over a year. Core i5 750, which performs the same in games is also at that price.

  • @runevirage you just got owned.

  • @runevirage Which laptop would run it well?

  • @runevirage Your a fucking retard. I can spend about 11 grand and create a mac pro thats triple the strength of a pc. Fuck pc

  • @Gears2halo You have no idea what you're talking about.

  • @777Sir Ohhhh okay whatever, ┌∩┐(◕_◕)┌∩┐

  • @runevirage

    Fixed:

lmao 1 thousand dollars to run 1680x1050 medium settings at 20fps, with im guessing no aa either, altho we all kno that the difference between mid and high and aa and no aa is barely visible and only useful for bragging.

for the same amount of money AT THE TIME you can buy a pc that will run 1920x1080 mid no aa at close to 30 fps. so you paid the extra 30 bucks for what? an extremely more reliable, virus-free os? LOL. Fail on arrogant, exaggerating, pc fags.

  • @runevirage dude this laptop made in 2006 O.o . If you rate on the Os it self Mac os is better. Plus you can install window on mac book O.o. You can install mac os on window hard ware too but harder. Back then a 2.1 ghz dual core pc with 2gb of ram cost 700 buck and it window O.o

  • @runevirage idiot, think of the context

  • Yeah, but for the same price of that Macbook Pro I got and M17x, which run this on Very High at 1920x1200.

  • hey guys ho do you set before a game, i mean do you set the rez first or the advanced and them try do see what you need and what not

  • mac has been proven that windows run faster on macs than PC's. PC stands for Personal CRAP!

  • @Oblivion2550 Lulz, link to this proof? Mac runs on exactly the same hardware as PCs they just quadruple the price. Take those propaganda headphones off please.

  • You know whats awesome? NOT having a mac.

  • hey bro is the Radeon X1600 better than the 9400m?

and lol playing at such a high res

  • ok so it can run it on medium..... and???? i can run it on medium too lol

  • ok what version of mac pro is this!, IS IT THE $1600 version? or cheaper i have 1700 to spend on a mac or this other gaming laptop, please reply.

  • @skyblue2567 I have the Macbook pro 2.26GHz and I can run Crysis on Medium / High settings via bootcamp

  • ya same i just got mine last week i have exactley the same as you,but are you running bootcamp cause i ordered windows vista so i can install another operating system on my mac

  • Yeah, I run bootcamp to play games and stuff

  • i got a better (windows 7, dell)laptop that is better than this for £594 (under $1000 i think)

  • If you want a good gaming laptop for that price range, go Alien Ware or just build a desktop. A well built $1000 desktop should smoke Crysis.

  • This runs HORRIBLY on my HP/Compaq laptop. haha xD

  • what are your specs ??

  • what kind of mouse are you using? i'm getting a mac soon and i've heard that a lot of people say mouses and mac's don't work to well together. I'd like to be able to play FPS games and still be able to aim! haha. thanks

  • dboyd1089 - can't really give you good advice because im running windows XP using bootcamp. This video was just to show how well it can still perform in games and more hardcore things.

The mouse I'm using is the Razer Lachesis, but like i said, im in windows XP, so i have the windows drivers, not Mac. Razer does make a mouse called the Mamba, however, that actually DOES have mac drivers. look for it under the mouse section on razerzone . com

  • I know you need windows to pretty much run your window games on a mac but i thought the mac drivers were still the main drivers used to things like the mouse and stuff but if i understand what you are saying then when you are in windows mode and you plug in any windows mouse it should use windows drivers for that mouse and not the mac drivers. correct? so a pc mouse wouldn't be great for mac but it would be okay on mac when running winows...? did i get that right? thanks!

  • when you run bootcamp to run windows xp on a mac, it's like you're using any normal PC. no real differences. just the mac case. you can use anything you want on it if it's supported by whatever OS you're running. so if you're using bootcamp and running XP and you got one of those mouses, you would indeed download the windows drivers and install them, because you're running windows.

  • @dboyd1089 mouses work just fine on macs. you can use just about any windows mouse, I have a Microsoft blue track mouse working just fine on my mac.

  • to get this do u need to have windows on ur mac or can u run it on os x or watever its called coz im new to pc gaming and i was just wondering if u can help send me a message plz :)

  • wtf your not even playing the game -.-

  • how am i not playing? i use an external mouse and keyboard.

  • oh k cuz a lot of the time people run a video and then act like they played

  • nah. i was just using a gaming keyboard and mouse. to tell you the truth, i dont even use that laptop anymore really after building my new gaming rig

  • Lol cool, I'm building a gaming rig now too.

  • Probably good but you know what my Asus laptop which was significantly less than the MB pro can dish out the same thing but with everything turn up on high? LOL Oh yeah it dual boots too between Vista and Linux So why do i need OS X?

  • nice vid i got the x1300/x1550 and its great it can run high, but laggy so if i get 2gb more ram (3gb total) should be able to run on high no lag

  • Go mac. The ONLY thing they can't do is play games. And you can make them do so if you want them to. Why not mac??

  • 17 inch? because only 17 inch has that resoultion and 512 mb graphic

  • newer laptp too xD this is a 2006 macbook pro

  • Laptops arent for gaming anyways.

Would never get a mac desktop,

but as a laptop it is truly unrivaled,

especially when running both W7 and OSX.

  • @ProjectAccendo WHAT do you talk about there are special "game laptops" like the alienware m11x -.-

  • @ProjectAccendo you havnt seen alienware laptops have you mate?

  • i seriously doubt you do lmao. and if you do its not from the past 5 years...

  • Considering the Macbook Pro is like 50 percent PC these days using PC hardware. Yeah it should run.

  • Nice to see that this mac is being put to good use ^.^. Nice post, good computer.

  • hmm. i might want to correct myself, i did some research.

do you have the 512MB or 256MB version of the X1600? and hows the framerate?

im not sure how macs are on driver support, but i would recommend looking into getting omega drivers or mobility modder. i did it with mine, and it pushed my performance pretty damn far. the only issue is that OpenGL apps may take a hit. im not sure how much Mac implements OpenGL though....

  • what are the specs on the X1600? i have the X1400 in my dell with only 128MB (1GB hypermem.) its a fast card, so that makes up for alot.

are you sure your on 1680x1050? because it really doesnt look like it. sure, its a youtube vid, but 1028x800 would be more believable on med settings.

plus, you have a smaller screen so lower resolutions look better.

oh and btw, no offense but you and many other mac users should really stop trying to oust windows by making mac look like something its not.

  • How are you playing this game? On another keyboard because i don't see you fingers on the WASD keys or anything at all. ??????

  • i have an external USB keyboard and mouse plugged in

  • Or just on a 360 or something?

  • My macs better. My Pc's better. Who the hell cares... all obsolete in two years haha including my macbookpro that can KINDA play Crysis

  • I have both a mac and Asus G50VT-X1, and in a $1,000 laptop the components in my Asus are by far faster and powerful than my 2k500 15" macbook pro.

  • SMOOTH? I DON'T THINK SO...and i bet you're playing on LOW quality mode.

Game play looks way too choppy...i want to know the resolution and game mode; cpu & gpu.

I am sure it's not native resolution of your monitor that's why it won't look as good...try setting it 1680x1050 (15inc) or 1920x1200 (17inch)...and also try settings at HIGH OR VERY HIGH.

do please do some benches. why would you buy a mac, let alone a laptop with mediocre to even try this silliness?

  • yeah but its still a dell... sux dude!

  • Looks laggy...

  • Oh this is a relief because I'm planning to buy a used MacBook Pro 2.16GHz Core 2 Duo (T7400) with ATi Mobility Radeon X1600 128MB DDR3. I see my graphics card has half as much video memory but I've got a more powerful processor to more than make up for it so I should get slightly better framerates, maybe 10-20 fps better. Apparently they've also tweaked the card slightly for the core 2 model anyway. The drivers should also be better now too. 3GB RAM as well.

  • The game can't even run on a 128mb graphics card

  • Actually I saw a video of a Radeon 9600 XT 128MB running it.

    watch?v=HYryWviV0RI&feature=related

  • yeah, but what settings they at,medium and no aa,dx 9.man there are loads of notebooks like dell xps, alien ware, acer that can tear the shit out of ur macbook.Just buy a desktop and get the new Nvidia 295gtx sli, then youll see how crysis runs the real way.

  • theres a FX PC laptop that runs crysis on like all very high

  • i haves it :P good laptop

  • is ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 good??

  • There are alot of PCs thats better than this!

  • Your gameplay sucks

  • oh and my gphx card is Nvidia Geforce 9500gs

  • nah its shit, throw it out and buy a 360

  • noob, and i dont see why all xbox players that flame on pc gaming videos have skate in their name...

  • will my pc run crysis ok ive got a intel core 2 quad cpu Q6600 2.40 ghz 2.40 ghz memory ram 3.00 GB

  • It all depends on your Graphics Card like I have a Intel Pentium Dual Core at 2.2GHz and a Nvidia GeForce 9800Gt. Crysis runs great on it. Now with yours If you have anything higher than a Nvidia GeForce 6800 I think you should be ok.

  • and what video card....

  • Was the Mac tax really worth it? You could have gotten a PC laptop with way better specs for same price.

  • Only a faggot little bitch would have to make a video to try to prove to people you can do it. If you were actually a respectable person, you wouldn't have to go around making stupid videos like this. You're the reason no body likes Macs. Good job DrayneGames, you suck at life.

  • god you have settings on as low as you can i cant even get this game on top settings on my pc but a lot more then you can LMAO just goes to show if your laging now what is it going to be like when you come into a bit of the game with sumthing to do

  • lol @ you struggling to use apple mouse

  • oh 320gb 7200 rpm hdd, duuno if that helps or not

  • what do you guys think the game will run on; laptop specs as follow:

    nvidia 9700m gt 512 mb

    intel t9400 2.53 ghz

    4 gigs ddr3 ram

uhm so if anyone would like to give their opinion id appreciate it. thanks guys!

  • yeah thatll run fine. The original crysis may struggle with very high on this pc, but the card, ram and proc are all fine to run it, so go for it. But i would most reccommend warhead as it has better graphics and runs better on higher settings.

  • It ran like fucking shit, shut your face bitch.

  • you got some shitty settings and your still lagin like a bitch! fuckin lame ass...

  • this is extremly strange. i have an ATI MOBILITY READON X2300 and i get 5 fps on 640x480 windowed with all lowest settings...

  • Enjoy your using windows really.

    Because you're using windows software.

  • oh yea crysis sux anyways so fuck all this shit fuck this im tired im going to sleep

  • wow low settings serously i get medium on a pentium 4 on a sparkle 7600 gs 512 mb

and 1 gig of ram hahaha u do low on that thing when i can do medium on my piece of shit

  • lol, same this here. just bought a 9400gt for 99 bucks. runs pretty decent, not the best but it does what it has to

  • well the macboo kuses the 9400m huuge difference

  • yep, i totally agree. hence $99 for a pc

  • OOOPS ma baad... do you think crysis will run *WELL*

    XD

  • do u think crysis will run good on the new 13 inch macbook pro?...i dont exactly know the name unless thats it but...its called like macmost or sumthing...cuz i wana get a new laptop and...ive never actually had any computer games except 4 halo pc so i dont know all the technical crap behind a computer :P

  • Um, the MBP only comes in 15" or 17" editions. Do you mean the new 13" MacBook? Um, possibly it'll run in low settings and a low resolution.

If you still mean the new 15" MBP, then search for the video of it; there's a couple around.

  • You can get a hp dv-5 with vista for £800 ($1600) ? that will run crysis better... I like macs but people over rate them, you got to consider how much macs cost

  • lol this kid is such a wannabe, hes running it on medium low mix dx9. sorry dude but running a windows os on a mac ? its not a mac. its just apple with windows.

    dude you are epic fail.

  • FUCK MACS. I had a macbook that failed on me and said never again.

I have an HP laptop dv6835nr that can't Run crysis.

But I've got a new HP Quad Core desktop with 4GB of RAM and a Geforce 280 that can.

  • macs would actually be worth somthing if they optimized it to work with windows products such as graphics cards and shit. Mac is epic fail.

im not too big on quad cores, i like the core 2 duos. im waiting for the new motherboards that can handle two quad and c2d CPU's and can rig up an SLI or Crossfire graphics. that would be Epic to have. XD XD

  • why would u buy such crap (dv6835nr) it doesnt even have a decent video card. mac rules

  • first of all, I'd never play Crysis on a Laptop.

secondly, my laptop cost me $750 when this laptop typically cost $900. My sister and my cousin have the same series but different models and I've run crysis on em but it won't go past very low settings.

I'd play this game on nothing less than my Quad Core nvidia GTX 280 with 4GB RAM.

  • please run FRAPS other wise fail. also post all settings you are running at so people can see shaders and shadows are on low.

  • both pc and macs have their good and bad sides.

one side doesnt really rule over the other because people have different preferences.

  • This is the new macbook pro 2008 right? Also what're the max settings i should play on for crysis, cause i'm trying to acquire a macbook pro by the end of this year.

  • mo...this macbook is 2 years old, i got it in 2006

  • anyone seen the palin vid?
