I wish the video didn't skip from the part where he's wrapping the lights to the part where he's already taken the bag off his arm. It seems to me I could just coil the lights, lay them in the plastic bag, then pull up the center and tie to the handles. Overall it's a good idea and I plan to try it.
I have no idea wnat is more awesome. That the Internet exists - or that there are people like you, generous of spirit, who put the time and energy into passing on smart ideas like this. Thanks, I really didn'rt want to go thru that whole untangling thing 11 months from now. - and now I won't :-)
I would not wrap it around my arm like that. I work with sound equipment at church and I have learned never to use the wrapping around the arm method with any kind of cables...even extension cords.
Just did it and works great. Thanks for the great idea and demonstration.

This was SO helpful! Thank you for posting this vid, I have tons of lights from a wedding and this is by far the best way I have found to store them.
