  • the truth st anger

  • St. Anger wasn't the best, some parts would sound better in different orders (Or songs) however, it did have potential. Take for example, this amazing demo.

  • Awesome melody very deep shot on hart thats metallica...

  • what are the tabs for this????????!!!!!!!!

  • Man this is awesome. Been stuck in my head.

  • This was on the part after the making of the St. Anger video where the roadies were packing Metallica's stuff to go on tour.

LOVE this 46 seconds of greatness

  • well, theres a chance they would still be around even with the breakdown, but maybe not without hetfield, but gratefully they made it through and are still the best metal band still around today

  • WOW! Makes me want to go watch some kind of monster right now!!!

  • at this i can see what Kirk ment by "this is the closest we've been to the black album"

  • sounds like the song breaking benjamin did on halo 2

  • the intro sounds like something Tool would record.

  • sad to say but st anger isnt a bad song but they could have made a hell of a song if they used this

  • haha first i couldnt think this was st. anger or even metallica hahahahha :P but this is quite a good song. I'm actually glad they did NOT make the songs as this. would've been ok, but that would be too much load/reload/black album style. none of this really heavy stuff.

  • this is from SKOM

  • Not really heavy enough for St Anger, but damn I wish this was in a release.

    That sounds awesome.

  • they should have made the verse like this instead of the st anger round mah neck bullshit

  • I FIGURED YOU OUT ELADORIAN

  • where is the fucked up drums? huaAuhAUHAHUAHUA

  • THANK YOU

  • nice

  • he was the cover dude for garage inc

  • idiot

  • rob also took zero part in writing st. anger... he came in after recording... bob rock played bass for them

  • If the entire album could've sounded like this it would be awesome

  • YESSS this was used in the part where they are going on tour after the prison visit. I nearly teared up when this song played and the caption said "metallica will start touring."

  • Eargasm xD

  • cool i herd this in some kind of vmonster the move!!

  • this is used for st anger. it was part of the verse and it had the same riff for the chorus.

  • Damn I'm looking for this St. Anger demo/jam since SKOM came out! Its so nice. Anyway of having an original mp3?

  • better than the one released

  • Holy fucking shit... if there is a god this would get released!

  • That sound nu-dass!!

  • ths is fucking bad ass! great demo. too bad it wasnt used

  • Wow its so relly good

  • please get the rest of this song, i love the mastered version but I need to hear this unmastered version of st. anger :)))

  • dude, when i heard this part in the movie, i loved it, i always wanted to get my hands on this, THANKS

  • This definitely should have been used for St. Anger. Sounds awesome!

  • yeah, first heard this on the SKOM trailer. very awesome, even if it's only 45 seconds. definitely showed that St. Anger had some potential. too bad

  • @juuubart you do know st. anger was there release album correct? without it they wouldnt be around anymore

  • @Wiiwillrockyouup Yes, I understand they had some "anger" issues during the time. If they didn't make such a poor production choice, St. Anger would have been solid and not getting so much hate.

  • @juuubart it was never intended to be commercialy succesful

  • fucking great. metallica 4ever

  • Really GOOD!!

  • Dang, those 45 seconds were better than the entire St. Anger album.

  • @Ita3rd wow. you call yourself metallica fan? fuck off dude st.ange was on of their best albums

  • @Wiiwillrockyouup As far as the production values are concerned St. Anger was definitely their worst, though I will say that if the quality of the recordings had been better (especially in terms of the drums) I would like it much more than I do. I think it's a real shame that the quality of the album is so poor compared to their other releases because the album definitely had some good riffs (Some Kind of Monster and Sweet Amber for example).

  • @Ita3rd uhhh obviously your music player is broken because it sounds fine, and lars drums were snares for that album, also you havent been listening to metallica that long obviously soif your wondering why it seems st. anger diffrent from all the others, its because they were doing through hardships at the time and were just pissed off at eberything

  • @Wiiwillrockyouup I've been listening to Metallica for a while actually (in fact I'm a member of the Met Club and I saw them live back in October). I know all of the history behind St. Anger but that doesn't change the fact that the album was produced poorly. Like I said in my previous post, though, I think there were some good riffs and ideas on that album but it just didn't trip my trigger. I do kinda like "My World," though, and I have a soft spot for the "Some Kind of Monster" riff.

  • @Ita3rd Damn I wish people would realise how unique of an album St. Anger is, but I guess not everyone ends up with a life that St. Anger symbolises.

  • @Ita3rd Shut up, every second of St. Anger rocks.

  • @Ita3rd Uh, dude, this WAS from the st. anger album. It´s from the song "St. anger"
