  • Mr. Miyagi is better

  • @IMxYOURxDADDY nothing is better than this

  • one of the greatest things ive ever saw in my life

  • everything u need to know about life is in this film

  • 2:20 through 2:30 is my favorite part

  • This movie influenced a generation. Blessed movie.

  • nagyon jo!!!very good!!! :)

  • Look at 5:00 with the rope training. What that does is not only make you extremely flexible but its main focus is to strengthen the bones, ligaments, and any other connective tissue to the muscles. This results in incredible strength for normal sized guys, Bruce Lee, Jet LI, Jackie chan, and of coarse JCVD for example.

it also enables your joints to hold up against twisting, like the wrist, knee, or shoulder, NEVER attempt at home youll fuck yourself up, find and old japanese badass to teach u

  • "Never limit myself to one style...to keep an open miiiinnddd"

  • Ninja becomes Samurai when son grows up to become father.

  • Man this movie really invokes the human side of the mind, body and spirit. I wish films today had this kind of emotional medium impact that influences significantly the kind of heart-felt criteria. I love it.

  • I would love to see the bloopers of this film, and when is Van Damme gonna be on the Joe Rogan Podcast? That would be epic! I bet he has some awesome stories.

Yeah growing up, this film was very motivating, not many films can even compare. Watch this film and try to not kick and punch whatevers around you. This was all before energy drinks and N.O. Explode, lol.

  • much respect!!

  • Awesome Film!

  • RIP to the great Roy Chiao 1927 - 1999 - thumbs up

  • @Brady2k10 I was born on the same day as him 16 March :D

  • if you did thise leg stretching shit at 5.00 it would tear up your muscles you have to stretch for weeks first to make them flexible if you just did this without stretching for a few weeks, it would tear muscles no doubt

  • @Brady2k10 I sincerely doubt it would tear muscles. Ligaments maybe, but not muscles. Anyhow, the technique does exist, just not in the western world and probably not in this day and age.

  • If Tanaka was my dad growing up it'd be hell - but I'd be legendary once I'm old

  • @nemesis465 Not really because you were favored, and you'd get your own Frank Dux to beat up on for martial arts training.

  • George St. Pierre should be the main character in the remake of Bloodsport.

  • @Tobudz

    Agreed.

  • I Graduated from College because of this Video.

    Motivation..

  • @NiggadickJaxHD This will be my same reason too. This training scene helps me meditate and study before an exam. Any time I feel that I am lost of hope or ambition to succeed in life, I think back of this scene to give me encouragement to never give up. I was never a smart kid growing up, nor was I an A honor roll in high school, but I know that if "I keep an open mind" and focus, I will succeed.

  • @NiggadickJaxHD Amen bro! This movie influenced my life aswell

  • You are not Japanese! You are not a Tanaka!

Sounds like my dad. XD Cept we are Japanese.

  • Azardgay fu

  • No pain

  • he should have had 2 children

  • GREATEST MOVIE EVER MADE IN THE WORLD.

  • There is one thing that my grandma taught me... its baking cookies are meaningless without some sugar

  • i remmber watching this when i was like 9 and doing push up to this scene and kicking pillows and stuff haha dont make them like this now sucks

  • So V.D. was taught traditional Karate & Japanese Ju-Jitsu?

  • Comment removed

  • @JacksonMichaelBAD so you eat bullies for breakfast huh lol

  • @tdevil101 xD

  • Is he wearing lip gloss??

  • @azxdesertrat Dude. No way. He wouldn't wear lip gloss. That most likely got on him by kissing another man who was wearing lip gloss.

  • The music is sooooooo great!!!

  • if van damme ever dies, i dont know what i'll do. we have lost great ones like bruce lee and his son. but god instead gave us lady gaga and the justin beaver faggot.

  • Where can i find the song at the beginning??

  • anyone know the name of the song in this video

  • 4:09 EPIC

I was 13 i saw the Movie first time and i was impressed od this scene!

  • I jizzed at 5:40

  • I watch this scene before I go run

  • i love how MK9 made a dim mak achievemant reference to this movie :)

  • Love this movie. I was born in 1988!

  • was there any nudity in that movie ?

  • @ilovesexilovenaked yeah they show van dammes ass

  • 81 people dishonor Master Shedoshi.....is thats spelled right =D

  • This training was just pure EPICNESS & Inspiration.

  • emotional memories

  • Some PUNK ASS BITCH who obviously has NO idea about cinema tried to tell me that Bloodsport was a "B-movie"... : P

I don't know what the fuck is his problem, but I'd sure like to see HIM try and make a BETTER movie than this!

Just think of all the time, money, effort, planning, and MOTHERFUCKING TALENT involved in order to make a great martial arts film like Bloodsport.

You'd at least need to be PRETTY FUCKING CREATIVE just to even make a film HAPPEN, don't you think???

  • We wont see this anymore in Cinema..,

  • I remember when I was a kid.. Van Damme was my rolemodel! I could do splits, and alot of his awesome kicks.. (today i can't do shit, i'd probably break something xD)

But i remember.. At 5:40 in that clip.. That's where i began to understand feelings, and the power they have.. Everytime i see that part of the movie, i see those years of my life passing by.. Such an intense moment just helped me grow up. God, life was so great back then ( Still is, just not in the same way ;P)

    ...Great movie! :)

  • @mickeysymbiose yeah it helps.. when we know were on bad habits..

  • I'm sure that Jean Claude van damme

Has had enough of Hollywood at

    One point

In his life. Oh well at

    Least

    He knows what

    He's doing

    In living

    In Paris.:)

  • @shibuyagto you fucking retard you don´t know anithing about martial arts...

when you do a training like this one o like other style then come and comment something...

  • the best training is in kickboxer

  • lol at the people comparing this to ufc etc. Its just a movie, do you moan at nemo for not being a real fish ?

  • his so young ere, love his movies doh.

  • they both have amazing fishing skills

  • @nhisgreat No, this is a scene, not a real fight, this is no martial arts this is american cinema for most of the population, watch an UFC or a K1 fight and you'll see what's a ring fight is

  • @shibuyagto what the fuck is wrong with you?

  • @nhisgreat I'm just a man who's shocking by the foolishness of this movie, where an apparently thaiboxer (the guy of the final fight, but i can't really tell what martial art he does, cause it's no martial art...) is bodybuilded, where the stereotype of the old knowledge master is at his best, where the fans are so impressed by these ridiculous scene who getting rid of all real fighters.

  • @shibuyagto And what does that have to do with my comment in the first place?

  • @nhisgreat I just couldn't repress my envy to laugh at this movie, and your comment was the first, that's all :)

  • He is so FIT!

  • TEACH ME, I CAN DO IT!!!!

  • Japan.....FOR EVER!

  • JCVD is the greatess fighter in the world I dont care wat people say about him thumbs up if you agree

  • If there's one thing that Jean Claude Van Damme's movies have taught me over the years, it is that a warrior's strength is meaningless without a heart and soul to guide and channel it.

  • @benvolio15 Correct

  • @benvolio15 u stole that quote from Sensai Jeremy Schmidt, and thats that

  • esse filme deveria ter ganhado um osca

  • esse filme deveria ter ganhado um osca

  • great film, maybe one day george st. pierre can do a documentary film about jcvd's career, lol. They seem so much alike to me.

Man I was fortunate to grow up with these films. Now all kids got is "Faster", and freakingly stupid "expendables". The expendables 2 doesnt have Bolo Yeng, Snipes, Norris, Segal, Van Damme, so no real action stars at all really. And again I just gotta add that expendables was a horrible movie.

    -Round Eye

  • I think the talbe at 3:45 is from IKEA, Modell "KNUT" for 200$....

Nevertheless, a wonderful Film who inspired my hole life...

  • wats da name da stars at 1:53 can somone plz tell me? thank you GOd Bless You

  • @777arcangel77 "Tanaka was played by Roy Chiao (16 March 1927 – 14 April 1999), was a Chinese actor. He is the founder of "Artists' Home," a Christian Fellowship for actors in Hong Kong. He suffered three heart attacks before his heart disease related death. He worked as an English language overdubber for Hong Kong produced films." Wikipedia.

  • @youtoo12306 thx for the info...

  • i am so glad i had such a good childhood watching these awesome movies when i was a kid. Kids nowaday just got lady gaga and rihana and j z and the like all sell out satanic evil cowarts.

  • @irishhellsangel, for sure.

  • @irishhellsangel Yeah thats why lots of kids are so FUCKED UP today and have no honor or discipline

  • @irishhellsangel completely agree

  • @irishhellsangel

Satanic evil cowards? Ironic coming from someone's who's name is irishhellsangel.

  • @Square1Programs Eat a dick bitch.

  • @irishhellsangel This movie IS a sellout crap. It's nothing but the lady gaga of martial arts in the 90's. Learn just a few about martial art and wrestling sports and you will see how this movie is patethic, ridiculous and so stupid !

  • @shibuyagto it's a movie which inspires people to train martial arts for real. by your logic bruce lee films are crap since wing chun is crap in real life. how many chinese styles dominate mma? besides sanda, NONE.

  • @mjfan123085 There is no "domination", it all depends on the fighters. Masters of Judo can take care of MMA fighters if they are truly good.

A bruce lee movie got nice choregraphies and blows are nice too. Here, it's so cheated and ugly.

  • @mjfan123085 I've studied the martial arts since I was 9 bud. Traditional TaeKwonDo, ITF, Shotokan Karate, Kickboxing, saying how many arts do you see in MMA is my friend a lame comment. There is a difference between the "Martial Arts", and MMA.. One is for entertainment, the other is meant to kill. And by no means am I saying MMA artists aren't great atheletes, but its far different training to survive then to entertain. I hope my words make sense, I don't want to spark a youtube outcry ;)

  • @Coads301 LMAO. this is reality, not some MA action flick. Face it, some arts are more practical than others.

Giving 5 year old kids black belts to make money is not the martial way. I honestly can't comment on the training methods of authentic arts. but in the west there are way too many mcdojos.

and I also have been doing MA since I was a kid, so don't get too high and mighty on me PAL.

Also who uses H2H fighting to kill? Even in feudal times they used weapons. It's all nonsense.

  • @irishhellsangel exactly

  • @irishhellsangel exactly

  • @irishhellsangel

    WOW...

I LIKE EXACTLY WHAT U SAID! ADD ME FRIEND - who are you..what are you..)im glad what i read:)

  • @irishhellsangel my man I trust you...london papa frederick.agyei@yahoo.com

  • @irishhellsangel there is Tony Jaa out there, and he makes great martial arts films. There is still hope. When you were a kid there were probably bad artists and films too that made money, but that time has forgotten

  • @irishhellsangel Lets add Coldplay. I think it's a plague most of my friends are Coldplay fans who have no culture whatsoever and only like them because they want to be a part of a group, sad.

  • @irishhellsangel My friends are brainwashed ..seriously ... I can't understand them watching shitty crap movies and listening to music from nowadays.

    80s forever !!!

  • @irishhellsangel word to that.

  • @irishhellsangel probably the best comment i have ever read in my life

  • this is one of the best movie ever jean claude van Damme best movie and dont forget kickboxr 1 not that is also a great movie where are the movies like that now why they dont make those movie anymore

  • Goldfish trick 3:10

  • 81 people deserve a roundhouse kick to the face

  • Best martial arts movie ever made

  • i love the music

  • Up to now, 80 people are stupid...

  • What the fuck happened to these style movies.... Van Damm did the best movies when it came to Kick Boxer and Blood Sport, no one could do these movies except him, the training in these two movies looked realistic from a weakling to an ass kicker, no other movies can compare, why didn't he do more of these back in the day. Van Damm was awesome yet he now pissed my off that he didn't do more like these..... No one will ever in the history of remaining life will you see movies like this again.

  • @ZroDfects 100% RIGHT

  • @ZroDfects Dude give him a break he's 49 years old. He can't do fly kicks and backflips anymore.

  • @Webbor Fuck off.

  • AWESOME

  • My fav film of ALL time.

  • As a kid Van Damme was my hero. Even now as a grown man, to me he is still a hero!

  • Best training scene ever made. Damn near inspirational.

  • As handsome as the day is long..what a legend!

  • the best training I think :D

  • My favorite movie of Van Damme my childhood idol!

  • amazing i feel proud to watch this

i aint gona make sad jokes about the dislike bar but wow seriously? what sort of person could dislike this?

  • 5:00 eierstretching vom feinsten hahahahaa

  • wat is da sonq or theme while traininq dey r traininq??

  • Only one word comes to mind when I see Tanaka transfer the katana to Dux: Holy.

The music, the sequences and the message about tradition and honor make the film. JCVD may not be the best actor but he EARNED that sword after that montage.

I get chills every time I see the joy on Tanaka's face at the end. Now that I have my own child. I totally understand. Bloodsport, inspite of some of the corny parts, is an all time classic.

  • Very motivational for martial artists ! thanks

  • @relnejem Not just for martial artists, not anyone embarking on any important task in life will feel inspired...

  • all i can say is i luv it !!!!!!!!!1

  • i am jcvd's friend and i can tell u that he is just amazing even today

  • Damn(( Cocoine is killed a great actor....

  • @nolt2004 @nolt2004 No it didn't, infact he is a better actor today than he was than. Of course his youth has faded but his acting skills are much better since he has been clean because he wants to prove himself. Watch Wake of Death (2005), Until Death (2007) & JCVD 2008 to see. Of course we know he is famous for his great athletic abilities and energy on scene. However, here is a great clip to view his acting skills:

  • search for " JCVD Monologue with English Subs " here on youtube. If you mean the drugs lessened his fame than yes, in the West it has. But he has still been making many movies.

  • I am a Tanaka

  • best film he made without a doubt

  • whats this song called?

  • Tanaka is true man and true warrior !!!

  • 4:11 what a pussy

  • @ticosexy22 why you say that?

  • @ticosexy22 he trained him to fight blindfolded

  • in 1:32 wow!!! my heart started being a man!!! what is that song ?

  • Regarding the chop while blindfolded, "HAHAHAHA. Nice try, Lao Che!"

  • Ikeep reloading this video its fucking great

  • Shidoshi Errm you owe me a new leg stretcher

Frank you are not japanese your not a tanaka
