  • nice man anyone who can play rush i will call my friend

  • ...im confused, why wouldent you play the rickenbacker ( its sitting beautifuly behind you :D)

i understand geddy plays a fender jazz bass now, but he used a Rickenbacker to record A farewell.

    great job btw! :DDDDD

  • I have the bit you missed out, it's basically octaves on A with some variation of this rhythm:

    2/4 c c 7/8 q. q. q. q. sq sq

    c = crotchet, q. = dotted quaver, sq = semi quaver

    I hope this helps

  • Once again, great ears!

  • Why dont you use the Rickenbacker for this song, that's what Geddy uses

  • OMG I love your bass covers. they rule. You should realy upload more. I would love to here a bass cover of "The larger Bowl" from snakes and arrows.

  • amazing you played just it just like geddy would

  • TY GHman64!......almost maybe :)

  • haha, your slowly being erased from existance

  • hey nice job, dude!

shouldn't you use the rick for this one though?

  • Dude, what happened at 0:53?

  • I believe that's what you would call a "sour note". ;)

  • Good job nevertheless.

  • I always thought this song should have been used somewhere in the Lord of The Rings movies.

You wield that axe with more skill than Gothmog, chief of the Balrogs.

  • Heh heh, I'm starting to want a Geddy Lee sig jazz now :P

    *just a lil bit*

  • Great post for Rush day (21.12.08)

  • world ends on (21.12.12 european) or (12.21.12 american)
