i got a crysis warhead computer for 700$ and it is xp... so its DX9 so it is not subbosed to be able to run at max settings but i did this thing thats all over the internet about getting xp to play crysis at max settings so now im playing crysis on a 700 dollar computer at ultra high everything and max resolution =D

if you have a higher resultion monitor over 1920x1200 thats beyond full HD.. and utilises twice as much pixels than 640p resoluion therefore more information has to be transferred to render a single frame.. over 2,304,000 .. thats 2.3 million pixels per second .. this obviously utilises more cpu time and transfer speeds from GPU to screen will need more power to keep frames stable

evga 8800GT is ddr3. if you buy the SC edition it's x16 2.0. if not than it's x16 [according to newegg]. since he didn't say it was SC [and since 2.0 doesn't make any difference at all with this card] just assume he is running it at x16.

Nice specs, you can play crysis no problem and it will look better too! you're lucky that crysis supports 64 bit! But you might run into some problems! but it is still said that running crysis on a 64 bit will improve frame rates and make it look better!

Trust me you are 100% right.  He's not coming close to runing ultra high. The only way to run Cysis on max settings is 3-way sli. Thats the ONLY ONLY way. So yes you can raise the BS flag on this one.
