The Starcaster by Fender is poor China Quality too they are as bad as these brands J.B. Player,Barcelona,Trinity River,Crescent all these brands have tuning problems, intonation issues and very high action as well as some with warped necks.Do not buy on Ebay go to a Guitar Center or Sam Ash or other store that specializes in musical instruments. Costco,Walmart and Best Buy steer away from. First Act are junk too.
The Starcaster is a piece of junk a Squier is way better also for 100-200 Indiana or SX (Fender copies are good to) Yamaha are exellent even the 150.00 F335 is good quality for a low end beginner acoustic guitar that is your best bet for acoustic.I have one and have had it for 7 years great guitar all around.
Hi, i'm a beginner. I want to buy an Acoustic of Ibanez brand.. which model is good for beginners? Artwood, sage, ael, v, aeg, g, aeb? Can u plz help me with this
@egnusmas The Ibanez jampack IJV50 is an exellent guitar and Yamaha are really good to as are Squier and Epiphone you can get a good beginner guitar for 100-200 bucks.
@mattbruder505 It is hit or miss quality wise I would get an Epiphone,Squier or Ibanez all are good and you can get one for 100-200 bucks but go to a Guitar Center or Sam Ash (music store) and play one try it out first then decide what you like.Don't go to Walmart,Best Buy or Costco ect.
@Ranalli44 Mmmhhh .... I see I have to go a bit far away to a guitar store because I live in Houston and there is one near here only like 20 or 40 minutes away but I will go and check them out ... Thank you any ways
What kind of electric guitar should I get. Can you look up Asking Alexandria? That's the kind of sound I want the guitar to have. I know i might sound like an idiot? :P
Okay hey look I wanna buy a guitar online but I don't have much money I found 2 online one was 40 dollars and the other 50 dollars they were bothe models like the electric guitar you have here (black and white) it is a good idea to buy one of these to guitars (got it off online on GuitarCenter)
hey ranalli, it is my first time getting electric guitar. my cousin has an epiphone les paul standard whichh is about $800. i know that a beginner should start off with a cheaper guitar but when i played it i just couldn't stop playing with it. is it okay to buy and $800 guitar that i like a lot for beginner
@Drphalgun19 They have a great starter pack called the "Gigmaker". It's a Stratocaster style guitar with the amp and all the accessories. We sell quite a bit of them.
Yamaha is shitty i would never buy one got the fender one i loved it was awsome i bought a custom black gx cherry black sexy guitar nice sound for and epiphone im now thinking of a esp nt-7 i really want to get into 7 string and play and shred that good video dude
@MrLaserprint i was not ignorant i stated what i thought and i may have helped some one out and personally i dont give a shit what u think of me fuck off
I don't understand why anyone would recommend a lower end guitar that has a vibrato; a cheap vibrato won't stay in tune and is a huge pain in the ass. It makes no sense.
@chirfan90 I think he means the edges of frets that come out from the neck's borders: if they aren't smooth and cutted with precision it can be annoying when you move your hand along the neck.

I would be a little wary of something that cheap...especially something online where you can't try it out.
I'd go to your local music store to try out a few things. I'd budget around $150.00. That would get you something that would at least be playable.

If you can do it, then great!!! Something like that will stick with you for the length of your playing career without doing an upgrade.
