No one has the right to tell a women when to stop having children especially if she has done a good job raising them. I have not heard anything bad about her children dishonoring the parents or themselves.

Having 19 kids does not make them irresponsible.They are loving parents who home school their children and have bible study sessions with them, and If they only had 6 children would you be on here calling them sickening and irresponsible, I DON'T THINK SO!!

My mother had a baby close to 50 (I think she was 48) and she was fine.

The crocodile tears don't do too much to make me feel bad for Jim Bob because if he truly cared that much about his wife, he'd quit getting her pregnant & start using his large head instead of his small one. These people are hopelessly irresponsible.

Secondly, they are not irresponsible, michelle and jim bob are not going around having unprotected sex without thinking about the consequences like a couple of teenagers, they are 2 adults who see children as a gift from god. I feel sorry for them. but they need to realize that she can no longer have kids without having complications. she's 43 years old! im taking a child psychology course right now and i just learned that having a baby at that age does cause many complications. i hope doctors are telling them to be smart and no longer have kids. and since the baby is premature--- really premature baby josie is going to have many problems in her development. normal pregnancy is 37 weeks... i hope everything goes well

her age will play a roll in any future pregnancies. But her condition with baby Josie Pre Eclampsia happens to lots of women that get pregant with their very first child. It can happen to any pregnant woman at any time no matter how many children they have or if it's their first. Michelle's age had nothing to do with the Pre Eclampsia condition. If you don't believe me then read up on Pre Eclampsia.
