It was just amazing. These professionals answered plenty of my questions within a 9 minutes video which I couldn't spot although I've been using C2 for about 6 months!! And also, I now sorted out 'common problem' number 1 !! Thank you, you are super instructors.
If i understand correctly, you're too far back in what's called the finish. Try not leaning back so far at the end of the drive (when your legs push back, and your arms follow. Your abs should only engage slightly, not enough to keep you from falling backward, which means your leaning to far back, and it will be hard to get straight for the forward motion which is the recovery. Go to the Concept2 website and you'll find a lot of info on technique. Hope it helps. I studied the process beforehand
Great work! Very informative for novices, but as technique evolving moves on, this movie is just not enough. Good rowing, absolutley, but not perfect.
Hi, I like your technique. I'm a beginner but my rower doesnt allow shins vertical, also the bar is too low. Anyway, I think I learned the hip roll. Seems that on the initial pull, you just hang on to the bar without pulling, then pull in the second half of the stroke right? Almost like your finger tension on the bar increases mid stroke? Will post a video when I can. Thanks!
4.00 - 5.10 : as perfect a technique as you're going to get....

if you do, youre doing it correctly...
if your arms start to hurt you need to improve your technique ;)
well try a 2K with resistance 9 and see if your legs will hurt :D

only problems with the technique are that the guy rushes up the slide and swings the body in too early in the stroke. apart from that its cool

Don't know what you are talking about. This guy is a paid professional. Are you?

Love to see more from you. I enjoyed watching your technique, I find it really hard to get hands away at the start of the stroke
