Go to your address book. I forget how to look it up, maybe under settings. But that's where you'll find it, conveniently hidden.

Sorry if this has been asked ad nauseum, but can anyone tell me how to see friend activity with this horrible, new layout? If not, is there a way that i can get back the old layout? Thanks!

@Brian120579 As far as I can tell, you have to either go through your friends list manually if you have the old channel layout, or, if you have the new one, look up your friends in your address book.

@FlyingOverTr0ut i agree this sucks oh and youtube disabled the share button you could use for sharing with all contacts you now must type it manually which i never do and which makes it harder to share this video you made or my future vids. by the way if i uploaded in the coming months a vid and wanted it promoted how many views could you/would you get? maybe i could return the favor...im not rich and hope if there was a fee it would be small.

This new bloated, and ugly youtube gives me a headache, it's literally an eye sore to look at. I've been on for like 10 minutes and I feel horrible already. If anyone remembers when that game Duke Nukem was released on xbox live arcade and it had that weird smoothing effect on that gave people a headache from playing for a while? Well that's what this interface is like.

So...I explored the new layout a little more and, yeah, it's horrible. The three column homepage - is YouTube an experimental template for new programmers? Or are these the same people who helped turn Google into the best search engine on the net? I hope all these videos send YouTube a message and they actually listen to their users unlike Facebook and Yahoo. They'd earn some points back.

Found another pain-in-the-ass feature. When you stop a video and close the window/tab/turn off your computer, and open up the video again, it resumes at the exact place you stopped. Meaning you can't just watch from the beginning if you want, because Youtube thinks they know what you should be viewing. It's not like I'd ever want to come back and watch a video from the beginning if I like it or something.

grrrrr...You have the same complaints as I do about this new change. It's horrid. Then on top of all this if you try to send them a suggestion for how you'd like it changed you have to do it in 36 characters or less...how did they even make that part complicated!

I bought it, like most of the stuff laying on my desk, for part of a film I did, in which I used it to stick pepper to a guy's face to make it look like he had beard stubble. And it's sat there ever since. I'm not so tacky as to have wacking lube on my desk.
