i've lived on this beautiful lake my entire life and i would not choose to live any place else. great fishing, laurel park is locals only though, unless you wanna get shot.
best striped bass fishing in the world. go to the coves around the docks..don't get too close though, you will get shot. avoid places like cocktail cove for obvious reasons if you wanna fish. near buford dam there are literally catfish the size of a man.
the lake is a man made lake with over 632 miles of shoreline. i believe it was started back in 1965 when they flooded farmland and forests. It has a water park resort locate on it as well as over 50 park areas and beach areas.
Our company offers an Atmospheric Water Generator here in Florida and US (Can make Thousands of gallons a day, or just 8 gallons for Home use.)
We use a Vertical Axis Wind Turbine to power it day/night, and we offer this also as a "Hurricane Package" in case power is knocked out, and the city declares the water unsafe.
We are also in production of a Solar Panel Model for those that love Solar! Can also be connected to Electric Power Grid. If anyone would like more information, please message me.

the lake is huge but that tends to be the most busiest coves there like 4 or 5 big ones like that with gas stations on the side
but the lake covers miles and miles!
