  • @OnlineChessLessons Just unsubbed.

  • RIGHT !

  • Hey Thats Awsome! like It! Check out CSChess.Net The Most Powerful Chess Game On The Plannet! The Missing Power To The Worlds Greatest Game Begins!

  • story are you kidding me!

  • This is a good video.

  • do you know that when you moved your bisipe at 6:46 you could check the king

  • @TheYugiohlover123

yes but that would be pointless as the bishop would of been batted by the king straight away

  • this feels like dora

  • can u help me by produce new video how to make checkmate perfectly thanks

  • This is a really great video

  • THANK YOU! no one else on youtube is understandable when it comes to chess so I can advance my game. Nice voice as well.

  • not a bad video for someone whos never played although over exertion at the start of the game is kinda bad if you ask me and thats what hes trying to say to get the pieces out there i mean look at 6:32 if you put your bishop there, look at black....any pawn to 6. than any adjacent pawn to 7, and you better retract your bishop or lose it like a sorry newb....BUT MOAR POWER IS GOOD BECAUSE ITS MOAR RIGHT?

  • "Poh-tential" ... pretentious much?

  • I'm not sure if he was expecting me at home to be saying the answers out loud along with him with the constant pauses seriously man? However in all fairness was a helpful video.

  • i don't like chese

  • wat is ur standard game rating in chess. com also wats ur username

  • @dmachovi He is a chess Expert because of his ELO rating. He is better than a Class player, which describes the majority of chess players, but he is not as good as a Candidate Master or National Master.

  • math fail at 5:00 he forgets to add the 2nd knight @ b1 thats 13

  • What if your opponent captures you while you're getting your king castled eh what then bub??

  • Diagonal!

  • What makes you a chess expert exactly? Maybe if you post a video on youtube about chess that makes you a "Chess expert" :)

  • Fuck the damn computer! Fucking inhuman move averaging ass hole that does not make any fucking mistake at ANY GIVEN MOMENT!!!! I woule LOVE to see an example of a Grandmaster beating the Free chess app at max difficulty so I can laugh in the computers face!

  • @randomraretutorials clam down its a smart persons game. ok

  • @castshadowice Wow, that's pretty ignorant of you to say.

  • @randomraretutorials A regular person can beat a free chess app at max difficulty...

  • @ShadesOfGray102 Umm, okay? Were you expecting me to care? XD

  • DAVID WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE

  • I've only just started playing Chess at the age of 26 because I used to think it was boring and for nerds but I couldn't have been more wrong. The game is freaking genius and the thrill of saying check mate is amazing:) It's amazing for me at least because most of the time my girlfriend wins:(

  • Thanks !

  • he sounds like SHELDON from the big bang theory

  • your a fucking queeeer

  • MAN, THIS IZ SHELDON...4sho!!!

  • soo whats the significance in castling your king? better protection?

  • @greg20423 It opens up your rook. Normally, the rook would be very difficult to move, because it would require three moves to get it out. (moving the pawn in front, then moving up the rook, then moving the rook to the side so that it can travel forward) And none of those moves really help out any other pieces, whereas castling creates a safe opening for the rook.(they are in open space where other pieces can counter more easily)

  • @SyaoLin213 thanks for the info still learning this game is difficult

  • Joined my school chess team and wanted some winning stratagies to get us to the final in my age group so i looked up this :)

  • "That is a good bishop" I may have peed my pants

  • Wow thwWaynelds is a dooosher mcdooshinstein. He probably touches his brother

  • i beat my computer so there'' once

  • Hey David Im Kyle Sturgeon U Went Out With My Mom Abused Our Dog Bro ur to Sick Pm me NOW!

  • @MimiAndKyle You're dumb.

  • He makes it sound even more nerdy with those percents he adds in. Oh this knight has only 25% of it's natural moving spaces. :P

  • Great instructional vid.

  • He sounds like xjawz

  • lol wow just wow

  • this video was the biggest waste of time... im sorry i had to dislike it. this guy is a moron

  • @eldavido761 yeah but your just a big cock sucker and the only reason you like chess is because you put the pieces up your bottom xx

  • @KraigieAdare hahahahahahah. idk what it is with you youtubers... always bringing up butt sex, i mean, is the entire youtube population as gay as you?

  • Nobody can beat my strategy called "Elphanto Cante". It's my clever strategy that i spent 3 years developing and It never fails and sometimes will give the impression that my oponent is winning, when actually i am. Oh Elphanto Cante, Thank you for making me the undefeated chess champ.

  • @TheWaynelds make a video how to do it lol i wanna be good at chess

  • @TheLilPimp112 I cant do that. It's my personal strategy that i've spent a lot of time crafting. But i'll will inform you that in certain situations, it may involve you sacrificing your queen in a discrete fashion to make your opponent lower his defenses in a crutial moment, but not always. the strategy plays out with how your opponent moves. Elphanto Cante is a killer and i've never lost a game while using it.

  • @TheWaynelds Props to you. You're now good at a board game after wasting three years of your life. I gotta say, however, chess is pretty fun.

  • @Tedsta101 said the guy who as nothing but video games videos on his channel. You can waste your life on video games and ill waste my life doing as i please, which ive also wasted (as you claim it is) on becoming a professional leveled turntablist/remix/scratch DJ, graphics designer, animator, CG designer, music producer, and audio engineer.

  • @TheWaynelds You mean, "said the guy who shares a Youtube account with his brother." You'll notice that probably half of the videos favorited are about art and piano and half of the videos are about games and such. If you're a profressional DJ, graphics designer, animator (I've seen your poor animations), CG designer (I've seen your horrible CG), music producer, and audio engineer, then I'm a professional concert pianist, portrait artist, caroonist, and concept artist.

  • @TheWaynelds Why would I share a Youtube account with my little brother? So I can see what he looks at, Sherlock. Get your view count up? Your view count is still horrible, you have like 200 views on each video. If you want to see some of my work, search up "NinhPianoAndArt". You can say that my artwork isn't professional, but it's definitely better quality than your...um...sad excuses for animations.

  • @Tedsta101 It's ok. You can pretend you dont like them and i'll pretend I believe you. And why would you care what you brother watches. That's his business not yours. He seems more mature than you anyway as he isnt going around and starting fights on youtube with random people. now be a good boy and subscribe my channel since you like my videos so much. OH, and thanks again for taking the time to check out my videos :)

  • @TheWaynelds You can pretend that your videos are good, but...have you even watched your own videos? I watched the first few seconds of one of your videos. I felt like I was watching a cutscene to maybe the first N64 game ever made. Why do I care about what my little brother watches? I don't know, maybe because he's my little brother, you dumbass. You might as well ask why parents care about what their children watch. And your welcome for checking out your video. You really needed the extra view.

  • What a fucking idiot..........

  • why do some of you made negative comments? didn't you see the title? "Learn to play chess". what do you expect? anyway, for me the lecture was very well said

  • i hate those pawns

  • or you could just put your opponent in a four-move check mate

  • @ShadowParanoya

You know, out of the few people who decided to try that on me..

    none of them succeeded.

  • @poopypantsmonster yeah cause if your smart you see it coming a mile away haha

  • very boring

  • listen to his voice carefully...it sounds like sheldon from big bang theory

  • @MCLegoDude41 Lol it does

  • @MCLegoDude41 But not nearly as intellectual :[

  • @masteircheef yeah. There was an episode on the other day of Sheldon inventing 3 person chess xD

  • Very boring

  • I play chess and I have always thought that chess is actually a simple game in principle. The difficulty lies in human incapacity to be absolutely purely logical.

  • @almklit Or in my case, to stop making stupid moves without realizing

  • Great video.. Entertaining even. Good basics explained clearly. I'm a big fan now...

  • No, "Expert" is not a title. But it is my rank. I wasn't trying to announce it like a title, simply to let the audience know my skill level. I'm working toward master, wish me luck!

  • no offense but is "chess expert" an actual title..? I am a chess champion then.

  • Very helpful! Thank you!

  • nice basics tutorial. Thanks!

  • @JoelTurgeonGuitar: Yeah, I've been teaching chess to kids for about 5-6 years, so I'm not surprised the tone comes off that way. Plus, this is a beginner level video, so I was trying to keep things really basic.

  • Good video. My friends always told me about controlling the center, and I never understood why. Thanks

  • I feel like I'm 8 years old watching this. Yet it's great. Well done.
