  • @JohnTheRails Thanks for the nice comment. I can just about recall some of the music used here in Yorkshire when I was a child, but never knew what any of it was called. This music just seemed to fit the bill, and I bought the test card on eBay, last month, for over £18.00 - It's just a bit more original than 'e' generated cards.! I remember hearing classical music and somehow, I have the idea there may have been some marching bands? Mostly I recall this "lounge music" type of backing track.

  • Stockland Hill does carry TV broadcasts - it's where my parents' Freeview signals are coming from. Lovely to see this card, as it is the card from my local transmitter, and the music is very evocative too.

  • @stupidrubbish.. Hi, and thanks for that. I'll take a big slice of humble pie!

You're absolutely, Stockland Hill does indeed carry TV (digital), but no analogue service. It was a long night, and after a trawl through the transmitter sites from Redruth to Holme Moss, I must have got my wires crossed (accidental pun).

It is in fact Holme Moss that no longer carries any TV services.
