So that "dark techno" style is does not exist, its just a slang of a Techno fans. The "dark techno" is a fiction (non-existent) style/word. Search on beatport or any offical music portal "dark techno" of genres, you not will find it, only Techno. So..this track is techno.
@Darkloss420 Incorect ! Beatport and any other major music portal has only genres, you won't find on beatport sub genres. They are way to much to display them all. Try to search dark techno, scharanz (hard techno) or on the other poll, progressive house or progressive trance. Did you know that dark ambient, ambient techno and ambient house are in the "Ambient" style ? I won't find those on beatpor.
@Darkloss420 I mentioned progressive house. This is a subgenre of house music. BUT, progressive house (the subgenre) has also 2 sub subgenres if I can say that : dream house and space house. Electronic music is twisted..so you can't put a "mark" on this track. It's between minimal and techno period. Anyway, I don't want to argue, it's easier to ask Hefty ! :)

@kjpasi3mpre For me it's dark minimal techno. Don't get me wrong, the track is incredible, but it's just not "pure" techno (in my opinion).
