  • I once got my old IROC up to 150.. The speedometer never worked right again after that.

  • I'm honored he enjoys his ride! His car, his business. I don't neccessarily beat on my 89' with the rev's anymore, but I do bury the 140mph speedo every summer with the tops off & radio cranked!

  • amazing car i treated my 86 IROC the same way the day i bought it you pay all that money u mise well enjoy it

  • It's nice to see a G92 Performance package 305 doing this. Prior 305's lacked the posi and cam this one has. It really makes a difference. Nice Blue Metallic, you don't see this often in my area. Besides my T-Top 5.7 I have only seen another anniversary convertible at local shows on this color.

  • take that tranny!!!

  • Transmissions usually are the 1st to go in these cars way before the engine's themselves. My original 700r4 in my 88 Camaro died after 24 years of use and with 149k original miles on her. Doing burnouts won't help it live longer either.

  • @Gaming4me809 haha your right about burnouts killing a 700r4 my went out at 125k and i did a shit ton of burnouts the month leading up to the trans failure

  • The Sound, man, the sound...

  • A 305 with a 3.42 rear and it does 150 MPH... NO F-IN WAY!!!!!!! only in your dreams pal

  • @WPGinterceptor With a 5 speed manual and 3:42 how do you figure there is no way? That is the stock gear ratio on 5 speed equiped cars.Auto's had 3:23 like mine and it will bury the 145 mph speedo.

  • @derrdon 305 with its 180 Horsepower... NO WAY!

130 MPH max... I know cause my buddy had one of these and we put 307 gears in it and she topped out at 130.. but im not gonna argue this.. say and believe what you want.. i dont care

  • @WPGinterceptor Not here to argue, just point out facts.Your buddies Camaro wasn't a G-92 code car then.G-92's came with the LB9 305 or L98 350.LB9's were rated at 230 hp and 240 foot pounds of torque and came only with manual trannies. There are facts all over the net about these cars, just have a look sometime. You could see two Camaro's parked side by side and not know the difference...one was all show, the other show and go!Type in G92 Camaro here on youtube, then get back to me.

  • @derrdon

the 305 topped out at 138 MPH.. as tested!

  • @WPGinterceptor I'm sure it did,but it wasn't an LB9 or it was an extremely tired LB9.If you want to insist you are correct based on that car...fine,however what are some of the particulars on your buddies car?Did it have the original engine? Some tuned port 305 cars were not the LB9 305.Some were very weak in comparison. The easiest way to identify a G92 is the 145 mph speedo,no t-tops.What year was it?The G92 option i'm speaking of was from 1990 to 1992.

  • very nice i had a 1989 z28 & later a 1994 z28 i had alot more work done to it and was much faster but i like the looks of the 3rd gen camaros alittle better

  • getting a 3rd gen. in a few weeks YES, cant wait, its a 3.1 not the v8 but I don't mind... a v6 in a small car like that isn't bad... maybe ill hock it up an see if i could mange to squeeze a 454 in it for shits an giggles... imagine that 1 ha

  • lol jeff im throwin a video up in a few days or so the weather in fl is so terrible right now

  • these engines didnt put much HP, but an impressive amount of torque, love the car! i will own a nice third gen someday :)

  • You should really wear your seatbelt....

  • Nice car man. Enjoy it, & drive the shit out of it. Like a tube of toothpaste use it up. Also you're going to enjoy the lack of leaks, squeaks, and rattles being a hard top car.

  • 305? Damn im about to buy a 92 25th anniversary with the 350.

  • Beautiful car man.

  • its a z it can do that all day ive had a 91 for 11 years never any engine or trans repair s there tough

  • bad ass Z !.....

  • This was a bit hilarious. BIG SMILE. Nice.

  • bro i got mine running ill be throwing a vid up in the next week or so

  • Sweet, I even lik ethe color.

  • My S10 is has a bigger motor than that blue thing u calll a camaro

  • @unholydisfunction so why in the hell are u watching a fucking camaro vid s10 punk?

  • bitch mine dont go over 80!!!!!!!!!

  • @justinschooltime I got an 87 camaro, mine dont go past 80 also

  • kind of same story... but '87 Camaro Z28, carbed Edelbrock 750 cfm, edelbrock intake, posi rearend, hooker headers and everything else stock... got it!!! and every time i can i take it for a short but fun time... awesome dude keep it like that...

  • 305?

  • @unholydisfunction yes it says in the description

  • Yeah, I had a 92 RS with Z28 package, only one with both spoilers (actually fit and flowed real nice!). This color with blacked out tails and front headlights, and in immaculate condition like yours. I regret selling it, as I want one JUST like yours/mine again, but with a nice LSX/boosted conversion O.o

beautiful car, and dont mind the haters, theres a difference between abusing and having fun..to hell with buying cars just to let them sit..if you're a car person, you can fix what breaks

  • that's the exact same thing i did to my 92 z28 when i got it!

  • tons of bark 0 bite

  • Hello do you know how to make the t-tops stop making a Squeaking sound while driving? Also did they ever make glass t-tops for camaros? Great car I have a 91

  • Why the fuck should you guys even care how he drives his car? He wasn't putting people at risk and he wasn't even doing anything over the top. Cars like that were made to be driven that way once in a while. Either way, Nice car, I'm a Ford guy but I've always been partial to third gen. Camaros. Sweet.

  • @SuperWhoopass me too i allways been a ford guy and i just bought a Z28 '87 of course i have my Mustang too... but this third gens are awesone i've been a chevy hater for a long time but know im started to see good things on this babies...

  • Nice car Jeff. Im just finishing a 91 Z28 in the factory color Brilliant red matalic. Its the least produced color in 91. Ill post a video in about a week when I get it back.

  • what a great owner, buy the car, immediatly beat the shit out of it..

  • @SySTeM4T1c

YOU are the kind of person who would purchase for gas mileage, visor mirror lights, number of seats, and other various bitch items.

WE are the kind of people who purchase and frequently enjoy them to their full potential.

  • @jeffg3209 well, I dont feel like killing my formula at this time, some great gas mileage? right...my lt1 has 240k on it and still running strong, becuz i dont treat it like YOU treat your car, like shit, the reason why i got it is becuz i love the deep throaty sound to the lt1, another reason, they are hella strong running engines, hence 240k miles, i dont have money to go and buy a fucking car with under 100k miles and beat the shit out of it, or as u say, "enjoy to full potential"

  • @jeffg3209 and on top of that, its my daily driver, and with gas prices shooting, i cant afford to step on the gas anymore, and no, im not gonna buy a 4 banger, or something with better gas mileage, it was my first car since 2005 put 90k miles on it no problem becuz i dont do what u do and im going to drive it until the frame rusts completely thru

  • @jeffg3209 No kidding. I don't mind if I break my car having fun. Just means more bonding time in the garage with it.

  • @jeffg3209 exactly man, whats the point of having the horses when they only stay in the stable. SySTeM4T1c you can go buy a moped.

  • @jeffg3209 But beating the shit out of the car isn't really using it to its full potential. Yes the beautiful 350ci V8 in a Camaro hauls ass and does sick burnouts as show ;) But if you want that baby to last you gotta take care of it and go easy on that transmission and engine before things start to break. My 92 Camaro is completely stock, and has 0 problems. The owner before me never ran it hard, so the engine, transmission, suspension, everything, are still in good shape and working properly

  • @JakeM624 "But beating the shit out of the car isn't really using it to its full potential. "

Not being mean, just setting you straight. That statement may apply for a sixteen year old who uses it to commute or take on dates. See, I couldn't afford this car when I was young, but I dreamed about having one just like this someday. I love this car, and at the time I was 26, at the top of my game financially, that is exactly its full potential.

    1. Enjoy it.

    2. Break it and fix it.

    3. Repeat.

  • @jeffg3209 But don't you think a 16 year old would want to race and do burnouts if they just got a car with the power to do so?

  • @jeffg3209 I totally agree with you Jeff. I have a 91 5.0, and I have fun with it and fix it when something breaks. That's the whole point. Jake is a tool. He probably has never broke traction in his babied Camaro. Good for him. He should buy a Prius and shut up.

  • @JakeM624 It's got the 305, fyi.

  • @blindskater200 This one does, but the Z28 Camaro's usually had the 350, fyi.

  • @JakeM624: Actually, there were more Z28 Camaro's made with 305's back in the mid-late 80's and early 90's. 350 TPI's were abit more rare but not "rare" if you know what I mean.

  • @Gaming4me809 Yeah, there was a 305 tbi z28 and a 350 tpi z28

  • @jeffg3209

what was the actual mileage on this car? seems to be running pretty strong for the stock 305 TPI. im jealous actually.. lol

  • @DevilDolphin13 yes, kinda runs like my 1992 L98 . It does have the performance package offered that year which makes it rock (according to description). Great cars these 1989-1992 models:)

  • @notecages25 i would say so. ive been trying for a long time to pick one up to enjoy for myself. but that nearly seems impossible with how tight we have to be with money these days lol i have 1981 Camaro 383 storker, TH400 trans. 4;10 gears, and a 1991 chevy 1500 sport, slightly modified motor with 4;10 gears in the rear end. CHEVY ALL THE WAY.

  • @jeffg3209 been looking at a few of theese on craigslist and i found one for 3900 has allot of upgrades has a flowmasters exhaust shift kit has a stage 2 port and polish , has 159k on the engine sound like a good buy? he says it's a good daily driver but what people say over craigslist is usually bullshit but it kinda sounds legit to me .haha would be much appreciate a message back :)

  • @MultiUnanimous

Just be careful. Send me a message with a link and let me take a look online. Not to be a downer, but when people mod their cars for performance, they don't do it to make them look prettier. I've been around cars and actually did the same thing you are doing. I asked advice from a customer of mine. He gave me the green light. I bought mine without looking 1800 miles away. Let me take a look!

  • @SySTeM4T1c These cars are built for this. They aren't tuna can honda civics.

  • @SySTeM4T1c thats how these cars where ment to be driven no putting around like your prius

  • @SySTeM4T1c older cars like that can take a beating better new cars have computers that will thorw useless error codes so dealerships can rip you off

  • @SySTeM4T1c This isnt even close to "beating the shit out of it"

  • that little bit of hard driving isnt going to kill a camaro, but it might blow up your civic, toyota, ect

  • @imcrazyforwar

    maybe 11 second 60 ft times....haha

  • wait, you call just over 150MPH not fast? Thats excellent, especially for that price.

  • Sounds pretty beastly for a '92. I am so glad I got the LS1 though, best sounding and best performing Camaro, until 2010.

  • sweet ride keep her nice them g92 are hard to come by!

  • @jeffg3209 Be happy, in sweden u haved to pay at least 8000-9000 in dollars for that car :P

But not so fun for me.

  • Nice car man I have a 92 with a L98 350 tpi and 5 speed and I have been building mine for a while. Check out my vids of it

  • I just creamed my shorts.:)

  • Beautiful car! I would like to buy one, toss the engine and put in either an LS2, LS3 or LS7. If I could afford the LS9 crate engine, that would be better. Imagine seeing someone with a 3rd Gen running an LS7 engine. That would be hot.

  • LOL, I almost bought one of these new in 1992.

  • @jeffg3209 nope it just had a paint job to when i bought it

  • @imcrazyforwar And i bet when you bought it it in fact either looked like a $900 car or ran like one. This car looks mint, ive seen mint 3rd gens going for more than 6k.

  • @circlelt1 mine was in mint condition and i sold it for 4500

  • ay bro ima make a vid of mine when i get back in florida i finally got it runing good

  • @jeffg3209 That car looks to be worth every penny. Its a hardtop too so it will never leak or twist like a t top car. Awesome car and good find

  • @jeffg3209 thats right, dreams don't have price. I bought a 31 year-old motorcycle (Polish PZL WSK) for over 25% price. This is so pretty thing that I'd pay even 100% of that. Sweet camaro, but I allways wanted to have late 2 gen. This one is also pretty cool! Keep it up!

  • not a bad car you should check out mine its a 92 rs deffinetly not stock

  • @jeffg3209 if its bone stock wich i dont think it is itll run 13's in the 1/4 if you have so much as an exaust system on it not a cat back i mean engine back wich is wat it sounded like in the vid youll that should drop 3/8 of a sec i 1/4 but im guessing just from wat i heard and saw it would run low 13's to very high 12's

  • @xhemix100 Stock G92's run 14s. At best 14.5, and commonly 14.7-14.8

  • @jeffg3209 ya, it looked like it was in pretty close to perfect condition

  • @jeffg3209 i own the same car in the same color, 900 bucks is wat i paid for it

  • Dude. This is seriously my dream car down to each trim piece, but with T-tops (not sure if yours has them or not) and 400-500 HP! Love it!

  • @Kcducttaper1

Yep. That was my story until I found this one. It's a great feeling getting the exact car you've wanted for a long time :)

  • @jeffg3209 I hear that, its like finding lost treasure!

  • this car has an lb9 305 nice car but its only really around 200 hp

  • @ad356 198 I believe is the technical spec on the stock 305 TPI off the top of my head. It's still a good bit of power for a fairly light car, but not crazy-power. This one has the G92 performance package, so that might tweak it a smidge over 200.

  • @Kcducttaper1 I had the exact car you speak of, traded it in for a brand new Silverado. WORST MISTAKE EVER!

  • @Scremph ahh....dude! Major brain fart there!

  • @jeffg3209 thanks bro

  • yoo i bought this same model and color from my uncle its my first car anytips?

  • @manorboi20 dont crash it

  • @miecow im trying bro 3rd get flys

  • Same here, i have a 91' RS w/305 auto, mine's teal but kinda faded from being forced to keep it outside (sad face). Sooner or later i'll be looking into a 79' Trans Am, my 3rd gen was fun but i think ive scratched that itch =)

It is pretty awsome though the attention these cars get on the roads, i had people overlooking a Porsche to check out my car at a resturant once haha, and mine's not even a Z!

  • sweet..haha mines a 92 rs. 305. stock! im still freshening it up..not as clean as yours but ital be soon:)

  • This is such a beautiful color for the 3rd Gen Camaro, classic.

  • i want a posi and what type of exhuast i want it!!

  • Yeah, I had a smile like that the first day I got my 92. Good job! Looks like you have a great car.

  • Great car... hang on to it man, as the G92 optioned Z28s are becoming collectors. The G92 optioned 5-speed F-bodies were the only 3rd generation 5.0L (LB9) models that could outrun the ever popular 5.0L Mustang GT and LX. I have a G92 Camaro page on my website StreetShowDriftDragsDOTcom for you 3rd gen fans...

  • I got a 1991 same color, my wife & I go back to high school year when we take it out for a cruise..

  • what exhaust is that? sounds real good

  • my dad has the on for daytona 500 pacecar but the new GTO came out so it didnt make it its the first of the line has a plack and everything it will hit 208

  • awesome burnouts!!!
