OMG! Tivo is by far better than Sky plus. I have both systems (I had to go back to Tivo as I missed it too much)
Far better search engines to find programmes and it dosen't drop season passes! Unlike the inferior sky plus. If you can still get one of these - I would. The best thing since sliced bread!
Nope - sky is the only one with their Sky+ box which does the same thing. Tivo is best used on the cable network Virgin Media as they don't have this already. I subscribe to the standard cable package then just connect my Tivo box (I paid for a lifetime subscription many years ago). Don't know about freeview boxes yet..

so you need a sky subscription and a tivo subscription to use both systems? also if i import from usa will the system work in the uk???
