You can unlock this song after beating stage 100 in story mode.. In fact, you unlock the tracks from Maximum Tune 1 and 2 after completing stage 100. I don't think shaded or unshaded affects whether you can unlock. I know because I unlocked it today :D

@FreshOfftheBoat if u are talking about the story mode then yeah. But when it comes to versus and ghost mode there are some super hard ass opponents out there. Hell you should memorize every single corner and dont even think about just scratching your car against the wall because that means youre gonna lose for sure.
