You make a quick one goes over the features, then a longer one with skips to show the seperate parts? Like, throughout the video there's a number of things down the side that go 'Visual', 'Articulation', 'Asscessories' and all that.
Hey man congratulations. I love your reviews and I hope with this you can keep making more and more. Also looking forward a lot to that blue frame review.
I have an idea, but first and foremost (if I haven't done so already): Congratulations, Prime92 on your promotion to Partner. You deserve it, especially with your following.
My idea: The money you get should be put into a fund: Then you choose multiple kits that you would like to get, MAKE A POLL. Let US choose which one to buy with the money. It can be your choice what grade. Hold out until you get $50 for an MG or $8 for an SD kit
Well, now that you've become a partner, maybe it's time for you to stop reviewing knockoffs and focus only on Bandai kits, 'coz a whole lot of great new stuff are coming out as we speak.
Congrats! can't wait to see MG Blue Frame Second Revise in all its glory! My vote is for breaking into multiple vids that way some one can finish one come back later and watch the continuation without having to reload the whole video again or try to figure out where they left off should there browser close.
30 minutes is nothing. I've sat through the PG red frame astray build video by 2old4toys, this shouldn't pose a threat. As they say, if god gives you lemons, make lemon juice. Now if you had an unlimited supply of lemons...
Like previous ppl said, I like rrobertt's system and the one you already have. Even though it's cool that now if you want to go beyond the ten minutes you can, a long video is not very practical for viewing purposes...and like you said in this video, it's useful to those ppl who don't want to see the whole thing and maybe just the articulation part or your final conclusions to still be able to do that.
id say leave it in parts so that way you can do what you said have one be articulation and then have one be the weapons and things. i mean it only makes sense so you can have like 12 minutes for articulation and not feel rushed
congrats, prime^ ^. I'd say in parts? just because it's easier to find topics, like if I was looking for weapons, I'd say okay, here is a list of videos of the kit, ah look, part x is weapons. how convenient as I have seen this review already.
i could so stand watching the video not in parts. i really like your videos and i watch them all the time, you actually do ones that i was going to ask to review
Yeah, I got that kit as well and it's fabulous :) I'm really loving it but school has been really over my head recently and I didn't have time to review it for you :).
I vote for parts, unless you make some sort of menu at the start of the video, which you can click on to go to the differant parts (like what 2old4toys did with his PG Astray Red Frame build video).
keep it in one part if you added up the time it would be as long as multi parts anyhow. congrats on the partner its about time you made it to partner.
I don't like the full length video, and I even skip your articulation review... I usually like to hear about what do you think or do you recommend it to use...
Imo it would be better to put it into parts like rrobberts vids and seperate it into articulation gimicks etc. If it were to be continuous then it would be kinda annoyin if i just wanted to see accsesories or sumthin like that. Remember, don't abuse your partnership privilige
Considering rrobbert has gotten away with a 40 minute review of the MG RX 78-2 2.0, I'm pretty sure no one would mind a 30 minute review of the Blue Frame 2nd revise.
Especially since the quality of the current reviews on it on youtube is lacking.
try posting it in both parts and as a single video and see what you prefer. doing it in 1 part will obviously increase your file size and therefor your upload time, so just see if its one of those things that will drive you crazy. and congratulations!!!
I think sometimes watching u showing off all the articulation is a bit boring because most of us watched tons of ur video moving them already. Maybe just give us a brief description of the articulation and what it lacks. I think separate ur video into parts will be better, cause some people dont care bout articulation n more on the accessary.
Congratulation Prime92 you very well deserve it.I dont mind if it goes to over 20 minutes what i do mind is the buffering part its so long for me it took about 5 minutes to load this 3 minute video.
Hi Prime92.. this is kirayamato184 , and you know.. I just don't mind how you do the video... because I just love your video in any way.. Keep it going Prime!!
id defiantly prefer parts like you have previously done, over a day or 2, 10minutes is a good watching time then either the next day or so watch the second part, rather then spending 30mins etc in 1 go.
Play around with the format of the review till you find something you like.
I like to do an general overview review first and then a second auxiliary video to go into details about something with the figure/model that would get in the way of the pacing of the review part. But it depends on if its needed. Also longer doesn't equal better in and of itself, nothing worse then a long video with lots of dead air.
How about doing both? For example... you post the whole thing. and at the begging you would mention "Theres is N parts" and then you would say the parts then click, the link for the (it's like a chapter skip) Whole Pros: 1 time download Cons: Too Long? (and when internet gets lost you need to reload the whole vid XD0 Parts: Pros: Chapter selection Cons: More hassle in your part
Congratulations on the partnership, Prime! Longer videos might work better for Master Grades and "Something Special" type vids, since you wouldn't have to worry about how long its running and getting logical pause-points between parts. But doing multiple parts would work better on customizations and painting, like when you did the 00 7 Sword resin kit, or anything that runs really long. Whatever you decide, will keep watching anyways!
OH PRIME, another one of your benefits besides going past the 11 minute timelimit, is you get 15 cents for each add that is clicked and you can make a banner.
First off, Congrats on the partnership. All I know about it is as mentioned, you get to violate the timelimit on YT videos. Aside from that, I know nothing on it's benefits. Personally, I'd enjoy your reviews in full length, but majority will rule
I just figure, if I am going to watch all the parts, why not combine them all? Same amount of time watching it altogether as it would be in parts. And parts kind put a kink in the flow for me(if that makes sense.)
depends... if your gunna add a part every day then i would go with a one part... 1 day becomes ages wen i wait for the next part.... just try 1 part reviews... then see wat the viewers think then...
Its better to leave it in parts beacause we can leave off at some part on one night and continue with the next part in the morning. I don't wanna sit through a half hour video and it'll also take a while to load...
How do I become a Youtube partner anyway? If it invoves having over 4000 subscribers then the dream's over before it started. xD
What are the requirements and where can you apply...?
Its ok to do reviews over 20 mins, just dont do it all the time.. check out JTMitchell87.. He has power rangers videos that run about 30 mins long.. Plus its also rare to see a review that runs that long from him..
