The only thing I've never liked about this game is that it's brawn over brain I like games where you actually have to think the game does have some level of thinking involved but overall it's just a matter of who gets their army built up quicker.

@10darin not technically u see even with brute force u cant beat a colony with an elite economy but u must need good building destroyers and things that can counter other things or u will lose!!!!!!!!!!!

My raid army set-up is 10-20 pikemen then 20-30 musketeers and then 5 or so falconets and then my siege set-up is 5-10 mortars and then surround them with 10-15 pikemen and 15-20 musketeers.

@loadedClownZ Russian cavalry is good becuase ithey are cheap and only cost 1 pop per guy. You will almost always out number your enemy.

@loadedClownZ British are my personal army. If I want to beat someone I play as British. They are very good. Longbowmen fire fast and are good against musketeers.

My favorite thing: Having a nice fight with my Enemy. Like, meeting in open field right outside their town with tons of troops on each side and being ultimately victorious, but them putting up a hell of a good fight at the same time. Nothing says epic like a good battle before rapeage.

Lancers, Musketeers and Skirmishers.

Tercio are meh. So are rodleros. In TAD unction should be used for dragoons v anti cav

As PR23 the spanish are one of the best 1v1 civs in the game.

The Dutch are the only civ that can use banks. They have a line of cards you can get. Also the second Factory is a card called 'Robber Barons'. It should be right underneath Factory wagon card.

try rushing with the spanish in a supremecy game starting from the first age. sometimes a challange. also you should of send in some imerial espada in there. there weak but really fast and with that they attack fast also making them a great villie raid unit.

there not weak, they have normal hitpoints and incredibly high resistance in close combat. plus extra damaga vs kav and light inf. real good unit, also vs Sioux;-)
