  • Player kept his arms straight up, did not slap down on the shooter. Good no call.

  • No call was needed there. Kentucky players arms where already up and UNC jumped into the shot. Good job on not calling it..

  • Well, as a UK fan I can't blame you for wanting a foul there because it would be awarded at any other point in the game. But you can't award it there. That looks an a lot like what Pat Sparks did in the 05 MSU E8 game and he didn't get the call in the final seconds either. And he made the 3 and a free throw would have won us the game. Besides you got your final 14 points from the line at the Dean Dome last year... maybe you should have saved some for the elite 8 game.

  • kinda irrelevant now isnt it??? but for the record, Duke shooters have been doing this for ages and more often than not, they "get" the calls.

  • no call because there was no call to be made stop cring cats won against our sorry team

    go big blue

  • Its a desperation heave for goodness sakes, your not gonna get a call like that. He dipped his shoulder and shot with his body turned away from the basket. Always will be a no call and for good reason.

  • ffhd1clt, i would just like to say you are an absolute idiot if you think Dead Smith was a good coach, because if he would have actually played the game right and given the opponents a chance, they would have been able to run with his athletes. he only did the four corner offense cause he didn't have the balls to actually play the game of basketball

  • Shooter leaned into the defender...good no-call

  • He probably did try to draw a foul but there wasn't one, If it was that easy then a team would do nothing but try to draw them.

  • Let me just say, Dean Smith almost ruined the game of college basketball. The "four corners" offense he ran for years was the single most destructive force ever encountered by organized sports. Most people on here most likely did not have to suffer through it, but imagine an offense that spreads the floor and literally throws over the head passes from one side of the court to the other for minutes at a time! They lulled the defense to sleep. I loathe the program. Go Big Blue!

  • @crowejuice Dean Smith used superior athletes to win almost 80% of the games he coached. When helpful for a victory, he called on the 4 corners offense to seal the win. Coach Smith was the most outspoken proponent of the shot-clock, because he knew he had the best athletes and no one could run with them. However, he was smart enough to win games WITHIN the rules. If you want to say someone almost ruined the game, blame the NCAA, not Smith. Almost every team had some kind of delay tactic.

  • Yup. An offensive foul crashing into a stationary defender. He flopped like a European soccer player. The essence of UNC.

  • @Voxpopuli1861 The defender was not stationary. As the shooter begins his shot the defender moves forward. If you grant that he established legal guarding position, which means a defender may move laterally or obliquely to take a charge, he cannot move forward or towards the offensive player. You may judge the contact as incidental or not enough to make a call but he was not stationary and could have been called for a block.

  • Hate Kentucky with a burning passion, but that isn't a foul

  • seems like everybody pays more attention to uk then their own team so they can talk about it. whiney pussy

  • The defender didn't jump up or reach in. His feet were planted, he was perfectly squared up, his hands were straight in the air, and his head was up. And he was already there before the guy shooting bumped into him. If he had gotten the defender up into the air, you could justify calling the foul, but that was the right no call.

  • that everyone is called a flop.

  • Where's the unc fans posting vids of the game at chapel hill that year when henson pushed jones down then picked up the ball with both feet out of bounds? One play shouldn't decide a game.

  • Obviously the shooter jumped into him....there's no arguing that. but a lot of times the refs give the shooter that call, which is dumb

  • That was a stupid shot to take anyways with plenty of time.

  • @ryrob93 Take your official bashing somewhere else.

  • CRY ME A RIVER DICKFACE. wow if youd made all 3 free throws you would have been down two still...

  • @nateman79 I don't know who that's directed at, but I could care less who won or lost this game...this video is up for officiating purposes.

  • @AllPurposeGamer The defender's arms are straight up and Barnes jumped into him. Good call.

  • @nateman79 actually only been down 1 69+3 = 72

  • @nateman79 your good at math

  • @abruck27 Smart guy fail. You're vs your.

  • @CoachNormanDale ok english teacher

  • @nateman79 Spoken like someone with a Kentucky education. Your math is as bad as your grammar. Kentucky fans are as bad as Duke fans, only dumber.

  • @nateman79 um, down one. 69 plus 3 is 72, but maybe not in Kentucky.

  • @kstarheel5150 lol...yeah cause North Carolina isn't filled with idiotic rednecks at all, right? I mean, its not like that state doesn't have a ton of Nascar fans with three teeth. I laugh every time a southern state makes fun of another southern state,.

  • @nateman79 Would have been down 1.

  • @nateman79 Uh i think that would be down 1! That would have made it 73-72 with about 20 sec. left!

  • @Maestroc828 He meant by the end of the game. We won 76-69. After that, they shot another three and missed, so they would have been down 2 if they got both of those.

  • @nateman79 Actually UNC would have been down one. I hate UK but the offensive player did jump into him. Good no call.

  • That probably could have been called but Miller had pretty good position. UK probably would have still won it regardless cuz even if he hit all three foul shots, UK is still up by one with possession.

  • go cats

  • go cats

  • you must not know about basketball, he had his feet posted and hands up, refs arent gonna call those desperation attempts

  • foul not called this whole game was unfairly called took henson out the game as well and we still should have won

  • @Deanovo not really...we will just win our 3rd title in 8 years next year...thats alll

  • the shooter jumped into Miller, that is an automatic no call. Take the loss, dumbass. That is obviously not a foul, but a desperation attempt by barnes in a game that was already lost.

  • @HighTyto12 FYI, I have no rooting interest in any of these games...

  • @HighTyto12 UNC fans cry about everything. What do you expect?

  • miller drew body on barnes...but they didnt call it cause it was late in the game...thats the only reason it wasnt called...wouldnt have been a charge on barnes either bc miller wasnt in the restricted area and he didnt push off

  • @MrDcbrockwell89 you want a tissue

  • Comment removed

  • hands straight up, feet posted. quit complaining.

  • You can't call it if his feet were posted like they were. If miller would of fell you could of called a charge on barns

  • YAWNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

  • the defender runs into him but thinks it's ok because he has his hands up? lol huge missed call, completely changed the outcome of the game

  • @saucegg You do realize the defender had his hands straight up the entire time right? Harrison Barnes tried to lean into it, to try to draw the foul, which is obviously why it was not called.
