??? did you see him flip his switch or something? We're talking about a Corvette that comes with 500+ out of the box... It doesn't need much to beat a 500rwhp stang. Probably just an intake and tune LIKE IT STATES.

A lot of people rip me but a 4.10 gear in a 500 rwhp 03 Cobra is a good gear. Add a 4.10 and it would be door handle to door handle. I ran the famous f8lbite at Richmond and I whipped his ass. He ran a 7.67 to my 7.37 on a 100 degree day. He can make all the excuses he wants but my 03 had his 03 any day on any track at any time. The difference was the gear. I had the fastest pass for an 03 that weekend at FFW.

The 3.55's are plenty for the street, it spins enough as it is, 4.10's would just be worse and would put me into 5th gear sooner, which is not a good power gear. I had 4.10's in a GT and it was fun for a while, but got tired of the high RPM's on the highway after a while - granted I have 6th gear in the Cobra but it would still raise the cruise RPM's more than I think I would like.

Actually the Vette has substantially longer gears than the '03/'04 Cobra. 1st goes to ~62 MPH, 2nd to ~93 MPH - 3rd to 120ish and 4th to 160.

The Z06 was shifting pretty slow. Probably because he didn't want to hurt the transmission. Around 1:00, there was a small flame coming out of the Z06 exaust tip.

nice vid i never really realized are gears are a lot longer than the vettes and that dam missed shift gets all us ford guys atleast once -_-

Yeah, 3rd gear is pretty easy to miss in cobras.
