Very Beckerish, I liked it alot. Something about the tapping at the end of the arpeggios at the beginning threw me off a bit, but nonetheless you have really great talent on guitar. Keep playing, you could get places.

Hell yeah dude. I just got introduced to Becker, but had known some of the other neo-classical masters, like Rhoads, Friedman, Malmsteen, Batio, et cetera. Seriously dude, you're amazing; I've only been playing for roughly half a year, and I can manage four string upstroke sweeps, so I think I'm well on my way to being considered "good."

Its not serrana, but it is highly influenced by J.S. Bach and Niccolo Paganini (it has an exerpt of Paganini's 24th after the first set of arpeggios)

How do you stop the strings from ringing togethor ? I try using my palm to mute, but often mute too much!

You have to make sure that your timing is perfect on the fret hand. You have to let go of the note IMMEDIATELY after its picked.. and palm muting is the key (mastery of that is a challenge unto itself). All in all... sweep picking arpeggios is ALL practice... and its one of the most difficult techiques to master. Practice makes improvement.

I can't sweep near that fast but it seems to me that the act of unfretting the note should mute the open string enough.
