THANK YOU indeed for posting this ~ I grew up listening to Big Bill, and this was one of his most memorable sad songs. His singing really stands out because he could sound so upbeat in voice and especially guitar style, but when he came to this lonesome tune, he was just as masterful. It's a great song; very emotional, and no one could imprve on Big Bill's singing of it, to my mind.
