These guys are great on stage - especially Ian Hill, despite the fact that he always stays towards the side of the stage and lets Halford, Tipton and Downing (now Faulkner) steal the limelight. A solid performance, rougher than the original as far as the guitars and bass are concerned, with some small yet effective changes. I have to say, though, that Halford no longer has the voice he used to have 20 years ago - and it shows. Still, apart from a couple of points, he is perfectly satisfying.
@PetrosTser totally agree. though i do like the new technology the guys use for their guitars and bass. i quite like Halfords deep voice on most songs. and yes. Ian hill just headbangs on his own in teh corner..
@IIxHarbinger I was watching "Electric Eye" the other day (the "Priest... Live" section, in particular) and, you know, Tipton and K.K. were doing their thing - and Ian Hill was, as you said, just headbanging in the corner, but I thought he was really great, despite the fact that the camera kept focusing on Glenn and K.K. (and Rob)... Anyway, I'm not a big Judas Priest fan but they're definitely a major heavy metal band - and they're worth ckecking out even today after all these years.
@PetrosTser i agree that most recordings live nowadays metal god does not seem quite as awesome, but i saw him nov 2 this year and, though based on what he did i think he was having an exceptionally good night, there were a few high notes, especially first verse of victim of changes that honestly sounded just like he did in the 80's. after that night i have no doubt he 's still one of the greatest male vocalists.
@sabianrox1 Yes, he is one of the greats but when watching Priest live (post their reunion with Halford), I can't help comparing him between the live versions and the always superior originals. I'd also like to point out something that hardcore JP fans might consider blasphemy: I can't see the point in Halford playing live with Priest anymore. I don't mean they should stop recording or touring but then again right now Halford can't offer more than what Owens or himself have offered in the past.
4:25 he still can do it!!

@IIxHarbinger no one would still have the same voice after 20 years, but Rob and Bruce have fared better than anyone else I've heard
