Camera with tape ... sounds like a camcorder ... How do you get the video to your computer as I think the video/audio quality is regarding to a low quality setting since camcorders should have an excellent picture quality. If you are using Movie Maker get the clip from your cam to the pc then save it as Video for local access 2.1 MBit/s

I don't really like friend requests. I only get them from people I've never heard of, never talked to or anything, and I'm fairly sure that these people are just looking for channel views. I can't believe a camera with an external mic jack has such crap video. Usually you only find external audio jacks on higher end cameras. Are you sure you don't have some excessive compression setting on? On "LP" (long play) mode? The problem looks like compression to me.

I recently started using a Flip Video Ultra for my outside (walking around) videos. It uses internal memory and has no moving parts. The quality is amazing in my opinion. I actually reduce the video quality of each clip to make it more manageable. The Ultra version costs about $150 and will record an hour of video.
