The guards wear those outfits to honor the hero that founded the land. Link from ST is given the clothing to disguise himself as a guard, so that he could help Princess Zelda escape from the castle.

Promotion, quality assurance, creating the games and cases/manuals, shipping, store setup. This all takes time.

For example, if a game is completed in March, and they may very well give a release date of September. This is done so that all of the things mentioned above can be taken care of. They may also wait for the holiday season to roll around, so they can get better sales.

Not to worry though, the game comes out in less than a week.

No special editions of the game are available in the US. So no poster for you. Unless you were to buy the limited edition strategy guide from Prima Games. It comes with a map of New Hyrule printed on parchment paper.

After OoT common sense and continuity cohesiveness went out the window in the series. And the split timeline and four swords made things even more confusing. Lots of people think that this is a different Zelda, and not tetra...I think it is tetra, but a couple of things stand out:

-Zelda says "me...go with him?" as if she's not the type to go on an adventure...Tetra would love the adventure...also I don't think Tetra would be afraid of rats...

Yeah, Spirit Pipes. It's the Zelda spin on wind pipes. You blow into the Ds and tap some stuff on the touch screen to create notes! This allows you to do different things depending on the song. You know what that means? More Koji Kondo magic!

I am liking that Nintendo is making Zelda a more involved character instead of just a helpless princess. This followup to Phantom Hourfglass looks like its gonna rely more on story than the last one. I am very pleased with this trailer and will get this game when it comes out.

I hope there will be more character developement.

I like all zelda games. But i miss 16 bit style zelda games, theres somthing about sprite enimies and bosses that just is not there in 3d handheld zelda games. Its different on the tv consoles, but i really miss top down 2d games a lot :( Looks promising though

I want a game that looks has such a well done story like Wind Waker. This game looks awesome, but it's story is a gigantic turn from WW's. I would like something with Vaati in it. Vaati would be great in cel-shading, as he is depicted as a cel-shaded character thanks to FS and MC's similar art style.

Really, we have no idea of what could happen. Remember the gamcube 'unveiling' of zelda for gamecube? It started off with an Ocarina of time look, but when the actual game was unveiled, it was cell shaded. Here's hoping!

My earliest memories of Zelda were Majoras Mask. And the first Zelda game I played myself (I didn't even try to beat it, I just liked screwing around in the game) was Wind Waker, which is my favorite Zelda game ^_^ GO CEL-SHADING!

It'd be cool if there was two side by side Zelda projects going on, a Cel-shaded one, and the concept art one. That'd be awesome. I wish it was still 2003.

Absolutely amazing. PH was a great game but failed to bring anything new really. It was just a scaled down wind waker. The game didnt even effect the timeline since it ended right where it started. Atleast this game seems to have an INTESNE story line full with awesome cutscenes, and finally zelda does something useful besides holding a shield or shooting sparklers lol
