Scottish Widow's Port Hamilton building almost claims another victim - a plate of glass fell off in the atrium (where the snow comes from in this video) and was lucky not to hit anyone. Ditto a slab of sandstone off the facia onto the pavement. Those are just the ones that I have heard of from staff there.

You councils and other authorities are really really worthless in the UK. In Russia we have thousands of gritters and cleaning machines on the roads, our airports don't close, our roads are fine and our country doesn't come to a standstill - and we don't even pay council tax as we don't have it!!! As for this video - this is shameful, as that should have been cleared off by authorities at some early morning hour - with a sign 'roof snow clearing - be aware!' before anyone walked under it!
