I was proud of my defence only to see it destroyed by offences. The worst part is that I cause no damage whatsoever to those who attack me.

Plasmas are beaten by lots of light fighters, 27000 LF and other big ships, say 1500 batle cruisers and 600 destroyers, and the 27000 LF ( light fighters ) you will loose about 2000 LF against 80 Plasmas, and other defences you may loose 1 or 2 big ships

iplay building 500 plasmas is stupid, as this amount of res could have built you a massive fleet instead, or several mines.

Dont forget boys n girls, you dont need to much defence if you fleetsave all your res, you wont get raided.

500 rockets 500 light lazers 500 heavy lazers 500 gauss cannons 500 ion cannons 500 plasma cannons weapon tech lvl 10 shielding tech lvl 10 and Armour tech lvl 10 1 small dome and 1 large dome i took out 5 deathstars so defence is the best offence!

I used to turtle. Had 20k rocket, 20k light laser, 10k heavy laser, 10k ion cannon, 2000 gaus, 200 plasma, and i don;t even know how many missiles. Got raped in one attack and thats when i decided not to turtle anymore lol.

best defense is just keeping your resources off your planet or spending them. unprofitable planets dont get attacked, unless someone just wants to break a turtle for fun. I turtle/raid so i h havent been attacked yet, but i know i will be eventually.

And plasma turrets need such technology. URGH!

I know it's the best defense, but 7PT's can draw with 1 deathstar, but u need 35PT's to destroy a deathstar. by the way, 40 rocket launchers can destroy a single destroyer at a 100% success rate, but who will attack with a single destroyer? Destroyers mostly come with lots of light fighters or some cruisers, and thats where gauss'es and ion cannons are a great choice.

And don't forget about shield domes and anti-ballistic missiles, PT's are the main reason why others attack with IPM's. Personally, make as much fodder as possible.

PS-Cruisers have rapid fire against rocket launchers, so they destroy them easily, though gauss cannons destroy cruisers in a single hit.

In my case, I had 500of rocket launchers, 200and so, laser canons... 160gauss, 42 plazma turrets, and almost all got destroyed by IPMs. I had 30or so Ballistic missiles, and got attacked by an alliance, tow guys alot stronger then me. They lost 4 ships I lost it all. They told me not to defend myself, cause they will get me anyway.

Aren't you in any alliance? Just join some good alliance and tell them, that you were attacked by 2 strong guys. ACS attacks cat tech 'em a lesson.

oh and remember attaker gets first turn so build double than you decide to build and one tip lheavy laser 250 attak light fighter 50 attak and 10 sheilds with no sheild armour tech. and the heavy laser has probably more than half the sheilds of the light fighter so when the light fighter takes a shot the heavy laser will sheilods will go down but not all the way and then the heavy laser attaks with 250 attak the havy laser will kill the ligth fighters sheilds of 10 and kill the light fiters

look how about this 1 heavy laser can kill a light fighter and a heavy fighter just compare the ships attake ans sheilds with shi[s in the technololgy menu and decide how many turrets are needed to defeat a certian amount of turrets you should build.

if there is something I learned in the many years I've played Ogame in pt servers is that there are no perfect defence... all bunkers can and will be crush if there is something to gain with it.. I new one crazy motherf**** that even destroyed bunkers without gainning anything just for the fun of it
