Apparently you risk getting your account suspended if you sneak into Old Ironforge. Which I think it's ridiculous since we pay for World of Warcraft. Pay for the entirety of it. We bought the game and we pay to play it we should have access to all the areas that are available. If we aren't supposed to go in there then why on earth is it there?? If you have an ethereal soul trader pet from the TCG you can buy an item from him that has a 50% chance of turning you into a weird creature, and has the same characteristics of Polymorph. You wander around for about 5 seconds, and if used near old ironforge entrance, you can get in.

I think Blizzard has made all these places you can't get to while intending to make something out of it.

Take IF Airport for example, if they just had put some quests up there and maybe a tunnel leading up rom IF then it would have been a fun place.

The reason you can't go to these places is because Blizzard choose not to finish the work with them. I have no idea about their reasons to abandon them however.

I stated on the other video showing this, that this happened to me however it was fighting Horde in a raid on the king. A warlock feared me in bronzebeard chamber and all of a sudden I was on the other side of the wall.

Over where they made the new target dummies to fight forever, you could find a spot under the stairs that said you were in Dun Morogh instead of IF and you could duel. Also spot by bank you can duel also. Did they fix those 2?

You still can duel in IF just not where he did, so you cant get into old IF. Go to the Military ward. Turn around. Walk straight out into the tunnel leading into the area with gryphons, lava, and giant anvil. On your way out. As soon as you enter the tunnel thing, there is a set of steps leading to a shut door, most likely set there just as decoration.

you can also duel if you stand behind the right pillar at the bank

Go under the stairs with who you want to duel. You will go into the Dun Morugh Zone and can duel lol, after setting requestiong the duel, you can run free whereever... Its fun to duel in the coals cause the loser will die lol.
