That is your opinion. Probably because you couldn't pass the simple test so you are piss hurt about it.
As for the look and feel, it is what it is. AVSIM looks like crap too, but it is the largest flight simulation community around.
My point in all this? Don't judge a book by its cover. FS-MP IS the largest online simulation community outside of VATSIM.
