@25corn I went last weekend and hung out by the stage door to meet Gavin Lee and Laura Michelle Kelly. My friend told them I knew the routine (I was too embarrassed to tell them...given I am not a theater person, but more of a CRAZY theater fan) and they welcomed me to show them. They loved it :)

@foorperif I went with my high school choir to NY and we saw this in Broadway. Before the show we were able to go backstage and we learned how to do this piece. it was very hard but very fun. I dont know if they still do it, but it would be a good experience :)

Why is it that the movie version was so much easier to spell backwards? In the movie they only reversed the syllables, in the musical version it had to be done fully backwards. I know a live-performance asks for much more energy, but I really feel they over-did it....

Just watched this today in Denver! SOOOOO AH-MAZING!!! Gavin Lee was in it reprising his role as Bert and he was spectacular! The sets, the costumes, the choreography and music- it was all so wonderfull! Its shows like these that make me fall in love with theater all over again!!!

Well i disagree i think the musical is better you can understand it a lot more. And its revitalised and new! And Laura Michelle Kelly was the best at portraying her own and julies role to be honest. Her voice was there, dancing was there and acting there. the other 3 or 4 were brill but in my opinion not as good.

I am currently in a production called " Who's been sleeping in my bed ?" and we have to perform this song in the show so we had to learn how to do that dance and learn how to say it backwards and spell it of by heart!

We learnt the dance in six weeks and at the actual show when we did it the audience just went wild at the end and everyone said how well we had done it!

We have to do it again next month!
