@frobank hey dude, i dont work for xln but yes u can make your own beats. whether u are using midi or jammin on a keyboard. if ur using midi with a mouse, your host shud have a roll out keyboard, or the option to point and click which beats that u want and where

use a daw program as addictive drums only comes as a plugin..i use ableton live.

then connect a midi cable to your sound device(i use m-audio fast track ultra)

please somebody help me! Could I use addictive drums sounds as wave files instead of using them by midi? for example, could I have one wave file for the snare, another wave file from the snare etc etc and import them in my music program and building the drum line like this?

@kakomoiraioi of course you can do it you dymmy(o anorthografos kserw gw..)you go to your addictive drums sound folder and you take tha certain wave of the tom you want.etc and you drag n drop the sound into your mastering programme.was i clear?

there's another way: Using VST input. Choose your groove and bounce them to a track inside your multitrack recorder.

@kakomoiraioi i think every music program can export whatever thing you play to wav file... just play the sounds you want to use in wav and then export to wav... i dont know what program you have, but if you have logic its even easier, because you can record in an audio track what you play in a midi track.. so you can play all the sounds ..then you just have to cut from the silences (logic does it automaticly) and you have all the individual sounds in wav.

I would hunt you down too....But I'm gonna help....what recording programm do u use? Addictive drums is NOT a standalone program, you have to ALWAYS use it as VST Plugin in your current recording software.

Shame that I bought this programm AND Cubase 4 for about 700$.....Others just download for free :D

Addictive Drums works GREAT, it loads FAST, and it has TONS of control and awesome presets!

I use AD with RET Percussion electronic drums.
