1982 US Open - David Husted vs. Gil Sliker - Pt 1

I remember back in 1978 I kept score for a pro am at Bradley Bowl in Windsor Locks Coonecticut. Gil Sliker and his buddy Eddie Ressler were pretty stoned on wacky weed. You could tell because they had that glazed look in their eyes. A number of the pros back then would stone out when bowling in the pro am. That was their way of dealing with something that was not too much to their liking.

Husted beat lefty Anthony. Notice the rack is open at the 1-3 pocket. That gave Husted a big advantage over Anthony. Nevertheless, great bowling David!

i have met him before, he owns 2 bowling centers (one of them i bowl at which is milwaukie bowl) and kellogg bowl and he owns hazel dell lanes in vancouver washington
