Gay is a more seasoned runner where i think Powell is hot and cold. He may run 9.7's or 10+ depending what type of shape he is in. Gay is very consistant . Gay is the only US runner capable of upsetting the Jamaican's . But on form you cannot go past the Jamaican's to win 1 & 2 in the Beijing Final.
This guy is on steriods. No doubt. michfan taking steriods for sprints is nothing to do with upper body strength - it is to enable athletes to train harder sometimes 5 hours a day, day in day out because the body doesn't need as much time to recupirate. That would not be possible naturally.

Gay is a more seasoned runner where i think Powell is hot and cold. He may run 9.7's or 10+ depending what type of shape he is in. Gay is very consistant . Gay is the only US runner capable of upsetting the Jamaican's . But on form you cannot go past the Jamaican's to win 1 & 2 in the Beijing Final.

This guy is on steriods. No doubt. michfan taking steriods for sprints is nothing to do with upper body strength - it is to enable athletes to train harder sometimes 5 hours a day, day in day out because the body doesn't need as much time to recupirate. That would not be possible naturally.

(that was sarcasm) it's okay to be a powell fan people but don't act like he's invincible. powell CAN be caught, especially when he eases up at the end of his races (not this one, but in another one i saw he just gave up at the end and almost got caught)
