@KrumpetNylon - That was me, yes. (: And good news for you, there's actually an English patch on its way! Not from me, but from an online friend of mine. It's already done, too (the translation, anyway), though it has yet to be edited, and there are still some programming things that need to be taken care of. But it looks like it's well on its way to completion, so definitely keep an eye out for it! Go to seldane proboards com (add the dots), and check there for updates.

I found out about Falcon 2 days ago and I downloaded 2 YS games which have english fan patch and i can say that I have more fun with this games then with FEAR2,BLUR or any more famous games...I would like to play this game too but if she doesnt have english patch I will not play it couse I like to know what is going on in game....I hope someone will translate it?Are there more A-RPG like YS that have English patch ?

@SuperNermin - There are a few others, yeah, but to be honest... I don't like piracy, especially in regards to Falcom games. Falcom ships overseas, so there's really no excuse for anyone to download their games illegally. They're a tiny company, and they need as many sales as they can get in order to keep bringing us these kinds of games. So you'll probably want to look elsewhere for information on other games you can download. Sorry!

@SephCat74 - Uhhh... seriously? Personally, I think this game looks amazing! It's presented in full HD, with really clean and well-animated character models. If you're referring to the art style, I actually QUITE like it.

At any rate, good graphics mean nothing anyway, as long as the game is fun. And Zwei II is definitely fun!

@Wyrdwad Well it's not in english is it? falcom sometimes release in Korean and English but.. most of them are not the case. Unless it's patched by a fan which who knows how long that would take. It's in JPG, therefore useless and not fun for me if i can't understand.

@SephCat74 - That has no bearing on the graphics, though! And it's actually an action RPG, with heavy emphasis on ACTION... if you were to play it, the story would mean nothing to you, but I'm pretty sure you'd still have a lot of fun with the gameplay, which doesn't require ANY Japanese knowledge!

Plus, it's being fan-translated.

@Wyrdwad You know, I thoguht out playing it despite my complete lack of Japanese, you know, like you mentioned, for the gameplay. But then I think that'd be so meaningless. I wanna know the story they want to convey, not mindless hacking away a monster which I dun even know the name of. And no one knows how long fan translation takes, it could be 10 yrs for all we know lol.

@SephCat74 - I know the fan-translator, actually, and she's ALREADY DONE TRANSLATING. She's now working on editing the text for grammar/spelling and natural phrasing, and the hacker she's working with is trying to get it all looking nice and professional. So yeah... it's probably pretty close to done!

I don't blame you for not playing the game without being able to read the text, though. I'm the same way. And Zwei II DOES have a really good story, so yeah... wait for the fan-translation!

Oh? Which forum is this? If it's Ancient Land of Ys, I was aware that a translation may be starting soon, but I didn't think it actually HAD started just yet. And if it was another forum... could you PM me the link, please? I'd love to know more about it!

There is no English patch, I'm afraid. I translated this by hand, then added subtitles to the video myself. There are English patches in the works for numerous Falcom games right now, including Ys Origin and Xanadu Next, but as of yet, there are no English patches in the works for Zwei II. There may be in the future, but not yet - and this game has a LOT of text, so even if someone starts working on an English patch soon, it'll be a long time before it's finished. Sorry!

As I said, there's an English patch *in the works* for Ys Origin. It's not done yet, but hopefully will be... I dunno, sometime this year? Same with Xanadu Next, though we're even earlier in development for THAT patch.
