Cali has some awesome diving, nothing like the kelp forests, even though it's cold. Oahu has good diving too. I don't spear fish anymore though, only shoot with camera. I want to dive Niihau.
Plenny fish out there i bet. Here on Oahu it sucks, only get Manini left on the north shore side. Finally got an underwater cam myself. Should check my vid out.
