Have to critical this as not being well done.... For Avalon, rob should have used maybe a Mesa or something similar to what the foos use, and for the Hendrix, instead of choosing an amp Mimi would use, rob used something he likes instead, which is really kinda daft.

try using a tubescreamer infront of the egnater to give it a lil more oomph?

@aldricsuan Out of all the gear we had with us, the one thing I wish we both had access to is a Tubescreamer. We've both always used amps for distortion though, with an occasional push from something with boost. I think as always with recording, the amp sounded hi-gain enough to Rob in the room, but the microphones didn't agree.

In all fairness ive got a pod hd500 and it sounds a lot better than this not sure why maybe it was the way it was recorded but its alot more responsive than it sounds here, im not saying its better than analogue but I think it comes close. Great job as always though guys loving the show (Y)

The egnater sounded awesome, the pod sucked big time.. Analog responds waaay better than digital, i hate playing with digital stuff, it feels unnatural.
