Th first time I heard Stacie Orrico sing, I was just walking through a Virgin store. She was there singing live to promote her CD. I didn't know much about contemporary "Christian music then," but I was drawn to her beautiful voice and the pure emotion in what she was singing. Couldn't believe how "young" she was--ministering to me. I'd been going through a rough time, and Stacie's music got me thinking outside of box of what "soul" music is. God Bless You, Stacie!
