On this mission, I attacked the hospital ship. Also, at 6:22, I did that once and got stuck under a sinking aircraft carrier and went down so far that the hull ruptured. xD

Speaking of sub missions, for the American mission called "sub on patrol," the hidden obbjective was to steal a Japaneise "Jake" float plane. You can use it to attack the cruiser that is at the end of the level and the Japaneise won't shoot at you until you've made the first bombing run.

@acepilot1 Well, this PARTICULAR sub he's using, a type B, can't. The Japanese did, however, have a sub called the I-400 or the Sen Toku. It could carry three M6 Seiran bombers. Search I-400 submarine.

@Elit3 Nick it carried only four there's no sub on the planet that has the capacity to carry 12 aircraft i think i know i work on them for a living.the japs built only two we captured and sunk one and the other is on display at the nagata naval base in nagata japan.there is no current sub in any navy that has the capability to launch aircraft the largest subs are us boomers(nuclear armed) there about five stories tall when in drydock and longer then a football field.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the secret objective is to destroy that hospital ship, I don't think the Japanese followed the "rules" to that extent.

I-400 Submarine is so awesome, if only it actually carried out it's real mission and destroyed the Panama Canal with the Japanese Carrier Ryujo. America would have been fucked. What you guys didn't know that? Oh you get all your knowledge from a videogame :( Awesome game though. they tried. Voice over sucks unfortuanatly and they do have the Mission of the Rendevous between U-530 and I-52 and by the way Germany was giving them supplies to drop a radiological bomb on California.

Yep, just as in real life, it carries some planes. Those are scout planes, but still effective.

Silent hunter 4 is on my top 5... and i know alot of games, its a WW2 submarien simulator, it has little storyline, but the graphics are actually greter than battlestations pacific, sink ships, shoot down planes, and the entire pacific ocean actes as one larg map! spaning from pearl harbor to the Indian sea, the indeians sea is if only you have the download content.

I am filming it right now, subs are the most awesome ones still.
