This is why I love history, because it's truly amazing. We came from fighting each other with clubs, to spears/bow/arrows etc, to swords etc, to modern day with tanks, airplanes, missiles and many more. World war 2 was truly an amazing war

As an American, not one of the 99.99%. as stated in previous comments. I have studied German WW2 history for 30 years. From a purely technological aspect, their tanks were quite beautiful. Learning from the Russians and incorporating the best aspects. This is how technology evolves. Know your enemy and make a better copy. Respect goes to all tankers, and my fellow Vets. Even Germany's most common and main medium tank, the Panzer IV, reached total production numbers of roughly 9000 throughout the whole war. Plus, many of their panzer divisions were also in bad shape and poorly understrength by 1945 (hence why some units even used StuG IIIs assault guns as substitutes).

@popper504 partly, the german soldiers showed incredible bravery in the war despite the horrendous condition they had to fight in and stalin's regime was a terribly cruel one but you can't say that they saved half of europe from them as the war ended with soviet dominance over all of the eastern countries and it was the german attack in 1941 that unleashed that sleeping bear. a sad state of affairs overall.

@popper504 partly, the german soldiers showed incredible bravery in the war despite the horrendous condition they had to fight in and stalin's regime was a terribly cruel one but you can't say that they saved half of europe from them as the war ended with soviet dominance over all of the eastern countries and it was the german attack in 1941 that unleashed that sleeping bear. a sad state of affairs overall.
