She has a good voice it just sounds strange because she's trying to sing in reggae style. It may not be pure reggae but it doesn't have to be in order to be good music.

I agree her singing accent thing sounds a little unnatural but she is a good songwriter and her melodies are quite original. If you don't like it listen to something else. Thnx.
