  • how old is he now 2011

  • dam, great tecnice

  • you must look at a child and see what suits them.. can you imagine coaching fabrice santoro as a junior.. dont change something unless you think you can make it better,, the title says agassi, nadal and safin.. all had double handers,,, 2 years could have been spent improving his double hander..

  • Robbie previous backhand came natural 2 hand and release with 1 and the end was effective in matches, his coach move him last year to a 1 hand backhand he had for 1 year nick bolleteri did not like this and moved him back to a 2 handed backhand since jan now much more effective

  • Robbie previous backhand was a 2 handed release with 1 this came natural his coach moved this two a 1 handed backhand. however this was not effective so Januaryt 2009 back to a 2 handed backhand much better now

  • teach him double handed... i looked at your other video,, why are you intent on teaching him a single.. he is a natural double hander,,

  • Robbie has gone back to a 2 handed backhand from jan 2009.

  • that kid is late on every shot

  • no he isnt r u blind??

  • you should be more cool with nadal about his technique.

see his videos to nadal 2004 to nadal 2009.

look how he hits the ball at training.

Nadal is with gasquet and federer the most techniques players on atp tour.

  • at 1:08 nadal is right-handed cause of effects i think

he is more cool with left handed

  • Why is Nadal Right Handed on 1:08 seconds?

  • He made it a mirror-image so he could compare Nadal's forehand to Robbie's.

  • nadal is just an exeption. technique is everything.

  • mental power IS everything, nadal is not the only example in history.....technique is important, but not crucial....

  • if you look at nadal forehand.. its just his followthrough that is unorthodox as it goes over his shoulder and around his head.. which is not what a coach teaches,, on wide balls sometimes players brush up the back off the ball straight up..

  • this kid has a good two hand backhand up until the follow through. he is just leeting go and stopping his left hand from coming foward after contact. SAfin is known to hold the handle with alot of space between hands and he sometimes lets go off left hand much much later in the follow through than this kid

  • wow hes trained with so many pros

  • would help his bh if he used more an eastern bh grip on right hand b4 release. this way he can make contact like a true 1 hander extending up and out more with a 1 hand bh in any case nice stroke. the fh backswing is typical of youth who need more strength. my daughter had (has) same problem

  • its not all about technique.

    nadal proved that...

  • Yes thats true However Federer has achieved much more than nadal with great technique, & its important for kids to get good technique early

  • strange backhand

  • why does he let go on his two hands?

  • His backhand is a 2 release with 1 he is in transition stage going towards, 1 hand backhand not strong enough yet to be fully 1 handed backhand

  • it took only one shot to see this kid is a natural double hander..coaches should be able to see that.. borg use to let the hand go off the racket after he hit the ball and so does safin (sometimes).. would you ever change them to one hand !!!!. top hand is dominant in double hander and should stay on the racket.. if you see nadal hit a forehand in training his racket does not go over his head, however in matches he adapts and racket goes over his head (sometimes)

  • The forehand is good However the footwork needs to be a little bit wider

  • Great Backhand & serve

  • good tape

  • super video
