I actually think SNW was completely underrated. That was the most experimental record Deftones to date. Chino has said that Eros is a very weird and experimental album. Looking forward to it.

The chorus sounds pretty dope.. Over all its another version of rats rats rats with a touch of hexagram. The rest is aight but as much as I love deftones I think chinos vocals are weak and boring. This is my "opinion" so for all your "youtube big boys" save your breath cause I've been a fan since 94. Either way I love Deftones and I cant wait for Eros. CHI CHENG WAKE UP!!

It's been over a year since you left this comment, so I'm actually kinda curious to see what you think of Diamond Eyes, and what you think of Chino's vocals on the album? Personally, I think the 'harder' songs display classical Chino screaming, but in a very polished and limited way. 'Sextape' was totally unlike anything Deftones has ever released.

@Drratburn I think Diamond Eyes is beautiful. Every song is pretty classic to me and yes he completely redeemed himself, took better care of himself and it showed. Im still not a fan of snw compared to previous releases but ya Diamond Eyes is fresh to death.

@Deftoneskid1 I couldn't have said it better myself. The only songs I can listen to from SNW are 'Rapture', 'Combat' and 'rats!rats!rats!'. Personally, I think Diamond Eyes seriously might be the bands best release since Around the Fur. 'Diamond Eyes' kicks the album off in an intensely gorgeous way, Royal keeps the ball rolling, leads into Beauty School, throttles to CMND/CTRL (amazing song). Favorite from the album, IMO, is Prince
