i have owned one of these for 3 years now, and it is by far the best cymbal i have ever brought and at such a low price it really is worth it. can cut through double bass with ease, and is perfect for any metal drummers... if orientals are out of your price range this is definitely the perfect substitute

man, i think you may have paid a bit to much for this, on rockem music, you can get a stagg SH china 16" With a boom stand for £57, but anyway, the cymbals great isnt it :D

Yeah, that's the thing about Wuhans...they're very inconsistent. From one cymbal to the next, they almost sound like a different model.

The one that I have (and the all the ones I've personally come in contact, which to be honest, is only like 3 others) has an extremely short decay, especially compared to something on the order of an AAXtreme Chinese.

Plus, with the Wuhan chinas, one tiny crack and it sounds like you're hitting a garbage can lid.

It sounds really good from what I can tell.  I have a Wuhan that I hate due to it's obscenely fast decay. What's the sustain like for this cymbal?

yeah, it sounds good, it has a fairly long sustain, but not too long, it very nice

i definatly dig the stagg china's...when i got my china it was a toss up between my paiste alpha and a stagg...but my paiste alpha was only $340(AU) and i was prepared to buy my self an oriental, but cheap chinas are the way to go ;)
