sorry to hear of his loss. just got my kit two weeks ago the landing gear was machined and drilled poorly all off center busa say they will try to find me a matching pair of gear castings i hope they do.i also just got a new os 55gt for the coupe cant wait to start i have to finish my brothers scratch 1/4 scale bird dog first.did tom find out what caused the radio problem?
Spoke with Tom and he said that the plane flew straight and level with no glitches but also no control. Sounds like receiver was not working, whether that is battery or switch, we will not know. He was so upset that he never bothered to look for the problem.

Hello MrCool, you are correct it is a DA 50. I do not think Tom had any major problems building this. At least not that he told me. Flew like a trainer. Past tense! He had radio problems. RIP!
