  • I use an Amber Teething Necklace and it made an amazing difference for my baby. I got it from Butter-n-Honey. It has helped with his sleeping, eating, irritibility, redness etc. You should try it!

  • Put some whiskey on his gums. : ) Helps the best.

  • frozen washcloths to suck on :)

  • He is adorable!

  • aw, I hope you feel better hon..xoxo

  • I hear that giving him a frozen carrot to suck on is supposed to help out tremendously. I haven't tried that out yet but my son LOVES cold water bottles, I hold an open bottle up to his mouth while he gnaws on the top & I occasionally tip the bottle slightly so that he gets a little cold water in his mouth. HE LOVES IT! Other than that the teething tablets & Tylenol have worked for us also.

  • @cathysagal3 I just bought some carrots to freeze today! so fingers crossed he loves that. teething is so hard for babies!

  • My son has been doing the drooling like crazy thing lately and yesterday his lower gum was bleeding a bit. I was thinking that he might be starting to teeth but then again he is only 12 weeks so I think that he is too young for that and he hasnt woken up in the middle of the night crying or anything so im confused lol. What do you think? Have Jacksons gums bled? Thanks

  • @OurGrowingFamily88 12 weeks seems early but after reading all the comments here on my video its totally possible! I heard teething symptoms can be different for different babies so you might have your doctor check it out. but it sounds like teething!

  • Kole is doing the same thing, has been for a few weeks.... drooling like crazy, chewing on everything that goes near his mouth! The dr confirmed hes probably teething and will be getting teeth soon! Poor little Jack, hope he doesnt have too many nights like that.

  • Yea for sure... my son started teething at 3 months & then when he turned 4 months two bottom teeth popped through at the same exact time. My daughter, on the other hand, I thought she was teething at 3 months, but she didn't get teeth until 6 1/2 months. But its very, very possible. My son is almost 10 months now & is getting his 7th & 8th teeth right now & he's not nursing well at all right now. Hang in there... boys don't seem to handle teething as well as girls (in my situation anyway).

  • @mrsmommy81 come on teeth, just come in already! that's how I feel right now! he has done much better for a couple days but I'm sure it won't last lol

  • yeah he sounds like he is in the beginning stages of teething :) in my opinion

  • Hysterical crying is usually pain, but some people mix up teething for an ear ache cause its almost the same syptoms (very irritable, crying out in pain and fever), so i would just keep an eye on it.

  • @ReillyAJ I agree with this completely.

  • @mrsmommy81 Thanks :)

  • @ReillyAJ totally. he goes to the doctor on Monday for his 4 month appointment.....he will also get his shots that day so if he is teething on TOP of having to get shots, he is going to be such an unhappy boy :(

  • If he needs something for teething pain look into an amber necklace!

  • @carlynicoleelliotte thanks, I totally am going to check those out!

  • which tablets are you using???

  • @adoinia2004 Hyland's

  • Have his gums changed? When Hunter was born his gums were really angled (kind of up like a triangle) and now his gums are really flat. So its happening!

  • @chatabox0girl hmm now that you mention it...maybe they have! they seem really lumpy! and there are two little lines on the bottom where his teeth will come in, whenever that is going to be! but I'm not sure if they were there before or not!

  • Jayden was a HORRIBLE teether. Mainly at night. He would just scream and cry. He got his 1st two teeth right at 4 months. I would just put the tablets right into his mouth. They mainly just distract them from their pain for a little while. They don't actually make the pain go away. We also did Tylenol and when he got really worked up we would give him a bath and that would always calm him down. Also when things get really stressful try giving him an all natural popsicle : )

  • @08jaydensmommy08 thanks for the ideas!

  • My daughter began at 3 months and got her first tooth at 5 months and 2nd tooth at 5 1/2 months. Teething is hard for them to go through, also for us. My daughter was very fussy and didn't sleep well. I used cold washcloths, fresh food teether by munchkin and put ice cubes in it. Also my daughter pulled at her ears a lot when teething.

  • @Lovesenduringpromise Jack pulls his hair when he is frustrated but not his ears yet. I need to get one of those mesh feeder things! thanks!

  • my son started teething at 12 weeks and got his first tooth through at 9.5mths. He has two now and about to get another and he is 11mths. With this tooth that is about to come through, he got an ear infection as well. He is so gorgeous! How big had he gotten? Wow where has the time gone? Poor baby. Teething is cruel and we should get the pain not them!

  • @jadejussy thanks :) he is 17lbs now...haha well fed!!

I know what you mean, I wish I could make him feel better!

  • Jackson is so cute!!!! I love your videos!! Just a quick question, I've been watching your videos forever! I think I've watched all of them, lol and it seems like in all of them you have nose sniffing and it just crossed my mind that maybe it's allergies from the dogs? Just something I picked up on ;) kisses

  • @viiivaglam thanks! yeah my allergies went CRAZY during my pregnancy because I stopped taking my regular allergy medication and nothing else worked! I don't think its my pets because I've had them forever....I think its dust though! boo! but this week its seasonal allergies and I've had sinus headaches too.

  • My daughter is 4mo 2 weeks now. She has been teething for over a month now. You can see her tooth through her gums. I haven't had to give her anything or she hasn't been acting up. I have had a amber necklace on her since she was 2.5 it has helped A LOT!! You have to leave it on him all the time. She sleeps from 7:30pm-6:30am. She takes two to three naps a day. One at 10-11am. One at 1pm-2 or3 and sometimes one from 5-5:30 depending on how long she sleeps during her second nap. Good luck!

  • @stephmatswife I keep hearing about amber necklaces ...I guess they are big in Europe? I'll have to get one! thanks1

  • My daughter started teething at around 3 months, she cut two teeth at just before 5 months. No one believed me that she was teething so early, but our public health nurse said that was what it was. It all made sense when her teeth came in.

  • Wyatt started teething at 3 months and he got his bottom 2 teeth at 5 months. Everything you said Jackson is going thro Wyatt went thro. Teething tablets are the best!

  • @zachsgrl04 I hope they come in soon and don't put him through months of torture :(

  • Sorry I commented twice - the second comment was supposed to finish the first one saying only "super awesome." LOL Love posting from my phone!

  • @cgrimesphoto haha yup I know the feeling...but thanks for posting at all I'm sure that took forever!

  • My baby boy started teething at around 10-12 weeks old, but he didn't cut his first tooth until July 1st - our anniversary, how weird! LOL - at about 7 months old. BUT, he gets like 2 or 3 teeth at a time. In 3 months he's cut 4 bottom teeth and 3 top ones, and is currently cutting another on top and another on bottom! Crazy!! The first ones were the worst, now his tolerance is much better. He doesn't fuss nearly as much and needs less teething tablets to be comfy - only one or two a day, which

  • @cgrimesphoto I hope if Jack is going to be an awful teether, that they come in fast and we can just get this over with! or he learns to tolerate it, that'd be nice!

  • @frowniebrown86 That would be awesome, huh?! But, EVERYone I know or have talked to says the longer it takes them to come in the better (for their teeth) in the long run. I don't know - no experience here as this is my first baby but I can tell you that it really has gotten much easier (or seems to have) since he finally got those first ones in. Not sure what to expect about molars, though. But, that'll be a while from now (or should) so I'm just not thinking about it. Hehe...

  • Awe, he is so precious!!! MY son also started teething SUPER early but didn't get any teeth till he was 9 months ago. He loved a cold washcloth around his fist then he put it straight to his mouth. i also massaged his gums all the time and that seemed to help a lot. One more thing i did was put the teething tablets in water then rubbing them on his gums. It was really hard, but it did get better:) Good luck you are doing a wonderful job with him:)

  • @maria22284 aww thanks :)

  • both my boys started at 3 months they didn't actually cut until later. my first had a really easy time of it, and my 6 month old has it a little harder. the cold washcloth works well for him, but sometimes i massage his gums with my clean fingers, it's so cute he opens his mouth really wide and gets this look of ecstacy on his face lol good luck w/ your little guy =) tara

  • @elisam34 aww thats sweet, I'll have to give that a try :)

  • maybe take him to the doc. to be sure..I thought mine was teething once and ended up he had an ear infection! Its hard when they cant tell you..but always good to take him to get checked to be sure:)

  • @25rmullins you never know! he goes to the doc for his four month checkup in a couple days so I'm sure she will look into it :)

  • my little guy started teething at 2.5 months. but didnt pop a tooth until 5 or 6 months. so it could be very possible that his teeth are starting to shift through the gums

  • Baby Tylenol was on recall. I don't know f it's still is though. We've been using Walgreens brand baby drops... Just wanted to let you know. Good luck <3

  • @mszeineb thanks :) ya we actually have the generic Walgreens stuff too, I just call it Tylenol anyway haha

  • he most likely is teething. it's very possible. my baby boy is almost 5 months and already has a tooth and he started teething around 3 months also. he has the same symptoms right now and he is teething so. also about the teething tablets, i seen 2 youtube moms that made videos saying to be careful with them cause there was a very scary situation that happened to someone with those. search hylands teething tablets on here and you will find the videos.

  • @YoungMaMaxoxo hmm thanks I'll have to check that out

  • He is precious!!! That's amazing that he's teething!! My youngest niece didn't start getting her teeth until she was a year lol. I love his hair!! SO sweet!!!!! The gerber mesh feeders are amazing for teething. Put a frozen strawberry or whichever you prefer in it and he'll love it!

  • @ashdave2005 thanks :) we are definitely planning on trying the mesh feeders when he is ready for solids, those things look neat!

  • its definetly possible, my daughter cut her first tooth at 3 months!!! when i first saw the tooth, i thought "no way"...but it happens.

  • my son teethed at 3 months n got is first tooth at 4 months. Everyone thought i was crazy for thinking he was teething. lol so i think that in most cases if u have a feeling about something, its usually right :)

i also found that teething rings ect didnt work as they were to big for his mouth n hands. teething gel worked really well for us.

  • @umhasoomi I think that is what is going on with Jack too, those teething toys gag him still :(

  • my litte boy was exactly the same at about 4months and my nan told me its just the teeth filling into the gums. she was right he never got his first tooth until he was 10 months old. maybe jackson might get them young tho. ur doin everything right its just hard having no sleep. hope hes doin ok x

  • @rebeccabee3333 thanks! ya totally could be his gums filling

  • awww look at him sucking on that dummy! so cute :) The sucking will help soothe his gums too.

I swore by Hylands Teething Tablets!! My daughter was a terrible teether (still is and she's 19mths) and I struggled with restless nights and crying jags for weeks before someone put me onto them.

  • @MsEz81 you're right, he is loving his paci (that's what we call it lol), he was it all the time now...and he will suck on his bottom lip if he doesn't have it! we love the tablets too :)

  • my friends mum told me that when my friend used to teeth and she was still breastfeeding she used to tap her on the back of the head when she bit her. i found it quite funny haha but she only had to do it like 5 times.

  • @familyfairytale yeah I've heard of a few tricks like that! I hope something works for us if/when he starts biting! ouch lol

  • Poor baby! My daughter started teething about the same time but she didn't get her first tooth until 10 months old ... she is now 19 months old and only has 8 teeth :) It has been miserable for us with her teeth.

  • @BrookeButcher1987 Aww poor baby! I'm hoping if he has a hard time with teething that at least they wont take long to come in....fingers crossed!

  • My nephew started teething very early as well...
