About the theatre its cute well run and tiny like a dollar theatre lol it shows all the newest movies of course. It gets up to mid 80s when its summer people here think that's horrible but I came from texas where 102 is the norm lol there is constant wind that stays at a nice breeze but can suddenly turn into 50mph wind. Kite flying is a must!

I live here. There is one theatre on the island there's really only two main roads that will get you anywhere. Beaches are ok. Couple of them have tons of red seaweed makes you itchy. There's like 4 grocery stores but you can't find everything you want at just one you have to go to at least 3 of them. The weather is up and down it could be really pretty one day then the next drenched in rain. Most of the people who live here want to get off the island instead of stay. It is expensive here

My daughter & I spent a week in Newport last July & it was the most amazing vacation I have had in years!! It is so beautiful, much what I would expect heaven to look like. Oh, I hope. :) This is where I want my final resting place to be. I asked my daughter to rent a speed boat & throw my ashes to the winds whilst going top speed around the island. I cannot wait to go back!
