  • Your mother was a beautiful, exceptionally talented woman and one of the best Christines of all time! You should be extremely proud of her. xox

  • did she have a facelift in 1986? she looks so young there in the face.

  • I have a question: Do you have a recording where she sings the whole Song because in the Film she never sings it till the End and she has a beautiful voice.(Sorry, if I made mistakes I´m from Germany)

  • @12345olemole Suzy sang a more complete version of it for the Lux Radio broadcast of, I think, It Started With Eve.I'd have to look in my stuff.Michael could tell you for sure. It's a real shame Nelson couldn't persuade her to record or tour together.

  • goosebumps resulting from vocals A+

  • shes your mother? wow, she fantastic and beautiful :)

  • Truly beautiful. RIP Ms. Foster. May her voice live forever.

  • Truly beautiful.

  • i finaly found it yes

wait is that the whole song

  • i am very sorry for the loss of ur mother may her voice in the phantom of the opera soar as ever

  • Thats very true....reached it with quality as well...watch her video 'In memory of..' that I made in honor of her passing...the soundtrack is a bootleg/ 'jam' of her singing Lullabye.

  • Your mother?!?!?! okay, hold on. I'm just trying to take this in. Your mother...was susana foster?!?

that's incredible. Wow, your mother worked with claude rains and nelson eddy in the phantom of the opera. she was also one of the ver, very, very few people in the entire world who could reach the high C.

  • @sstuddert Not to be anal, she hit F over high C.Even when she was much older, she could STILL hit close to F over high C, and that note coming through the phone was an "experience".:)

  • well, great. F over high c, even better.

  • @sstuddert F over Treble C Mezzo Soprano range =)

  • @wwahc1964 It isn't even an F over High C its F under High C

  • @classicalgal14 "Leading lady Susanna Foster was very well received although her career was to be short lived. She was Universal’s backup to their own Deanna Durbin, but she never transmitted the Durbin spontaneity and warmth. Her unique ability to hit F above high C gets full play in the film."

  • Wow she has a good voice.

I really liked this version, because although it didn't follow Leroux it did have a blond curly haired Christine

  • Your mother is a very, very talented lady. Watching these videos has really inspired me to try new things as a singer, and it would mean the world to me if you could pass along my thanks for her art and good wishes to her. Would she or you mind if I tried my hand at singing this song and posted it on Youtube in her honour? It's such a beautiful song and it means so much to me. Her rendition has truly inspired me. Thank you for posting these awe-inspiringly beautifully videos.

  • RIP Ms Foster

  • Rest well, a rare gift such a talented and other world creature who gave so much and fought so hard. As long as we remember nothing is lost and all remains possible..

  • I'm terribly sorry, I didn't know. The IMDB lied to me.

  • Susanna Foster was such a beautiful singer. She sang like she was truly into the song.

"Lullaby of the Bells" is the most pleasing music I have ever heard.

  • Child of the great Susanna Foster I honor you for posting this and want you to know that as long as there is song and music Susanna Foster's voice shall always live on in the hearts and minds of people past, present and future whom have been touched so dearly by her wonderful singing and acting. Thank you....Thank you.

  • She is sooo amazing! I loved her in PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. What a beautiful voice!!!

  • I remember while my mother (the Lovely lady) wrestled screamed to try and cut my hair...as my musical tastes were from James Brown to The Beatles, I can tell you she was 'horrified'!

  • @MicahVita She wasn't big on Hendrix,was she?:)

  • Lovely lady - my parents would have liked the song, but then we often had arguments about musical taste :-))

  • Thank You!!

  • Wow, you're mother is truly beautiful. I loved her as Christine. Its amazing that she knew Claude Rains. What an amazing actor. :)

  • Yes Mat....I hope to be coming to Europe next year...and would like some contacts to visit.

    Micah
