  • if you take 1% in all direction dont you get like 1% of 1% of 1% of the plane withc is 0.0001% in volume of the real plane..

oh and one more thing, where is are the windows???? people want windows, othere wise the airplane wont be sold.

  • now all NASA needs to do is grow that guy a penis

  • 3:36 is when this shit really kicks off :)

  • No offence, but I'm also taking ground school, and the tempurature may be cold enough for that to happen, but you'll drop too fast for your body to freeze

  • Lockheed martin pwns NASA. Why? They have more money!

  • 1:33 lol.. is she named windy?

  • @baboer wendy

  • They aren't real people. They're from the SIMs.

  • What is this stupid crazy persons?

  • lol this is cheese

  • now I know where suze orman got her music....

  • this seems like the 90's...from the typeface to the sound effects; yup, late 90s indeed.

  • UGly aircraft!!!

  • at 03:37 I was like WOW FUCK ME!!! THAT WAS SCARY !!!! LOL

  • Just Remenber nasa, the is a limit to the width and height of a commercial plane, it has to fit on the stand, this looks a little too big. plus, looks expensive to build, probably cost more to use, coz of the construction costs?

  • I think that one of the biggest problems of those giant planes is the landing gear. It will be mauch more smart to use trench with water for the land fields and a ground launcher for take off. Thus a lot of weight coud have been saved also the motor will not need to be that big due to the fact they will not have to take off alone. In case of crash the reinforced wing body will perform as a ski and of course on water landing will perform very well(not perfectly due to the waves)

  • you guys are jerks... thanks for making me feel like a 5 year old...

  • WOW SOO COOL!!! THEY SIMPLY GRABBED OLD GERMAN PATENTS PUT THEM IN A HAT AND BAM!!! MAGIC THERE WE HAVE A NEW SPACEAGE PLANE!!! BOOOM!!!.. To bad that this is an Arado E. 555 mixed with the BWB Idea of the Junkers G 38. So that means there is NOTHING NEW on this concept, just like the B-2 a copy of German genius.

  • SIT IN THE WING? Helll Naw. xD

  • Dangerus HOW PEOPLE TO ESCAPE. THAT THING. IT NEED MORE ESCAPE DOOR. TO ESCAPE IN 5 MINITE.

  • I love BBW's...

  • I look forward to NASA making a full scale BWB !! When will that be ? Fuel prices are not going down by 2020/2030 time fame !! Make this plane !! Boeing and Airbus take note !!

  • u don t do way? sell to a commercial airline ... becouse is MORE expensive .. sorry this is the truth and i don t like more the motors out of the profile ..bleaa u are nasa do one same b2spirit please XD !!

  • wow so, if your a front seat passenger, you can see through the front of the airplane, awesome!

  • I don't like this because the plane has NO WINDOWS!! >.<

  • @aWiibitcrazy That was my reaction too at first, but in place of windows they can have flush mounted cameras in various part of the plane and let you view them through view screens or monitors at every seat.

  • Oh My god they are way O.T.T.

  • The only thing's missing is. BARNIE (aka King Ritalin) and the rest of the Little Ritalin's ,

  • Dear All,

I have some questions about psychology:

    (1) Why do we love flying?

    (2) Why do we want to design new aeroplanes?

    (3) Why do we feel that designing new aeroplane is a representation of self-actualization (expression of human full-potential)?

THANK YOU IN ADVNACE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

  • 1.) Not sure, don't know much about psychology much less my own feelings on it, all I know is that I truly and honestly love it.

2.) New designs tend to mean more efficiency or effect. Most often seen is it wartime and economic booms.

3.) Because the more we design them the closer we get to reaching the "final frontier" of space and being able to continue our race of knowledge beyond just the limits of Earth.

This is pretty general. This is how it really quite simply feels for me.

  • To estimate the frontal surface area

all we need is the width BOINK

The height BOINK and a little Geometry BOINK !

  • And to think all they needed to get kids to understand all of this was a couple of hyperactive presenters. Brilliant!

  • @mackat4ck I would have paid more attention if the women took her clothes off.

  • @mackat4ck This makes me miss MR. WIZARD.

  • it´s real it s a copy of a Horten Ho 229

World War II prototype flying wing fighter/bomber, designed by Reimar and Walter Horten and built by Gothaer Waggonfabrik.

  • no offense, but this is gay!

  • they really screwed up,its meant for primary school kids,i had to watch this in 3rd year in secondary.

  • Why do presentations these days have to be so fucking 'Like Totally ya' & SLAPSTICK, in order to keep todays' Goldfish attention spanned Yoof, engaged & watching!

Dumbed down bollox ... STOP talking to kids like they're watching a Warner Brothers Cartoon!

  • 3:36 -- This is EXACTLY the sort of annoying irritating SHIT i'm referring to! ... Complete with cartoon sounds! JESUS how fucking dumb!

    LMAO

  • THE GUY SEEMS GAY!!! ROTFLOL

  • i was just about to say that lmao

  • I'm trying to figure out what age group this is aimed at...

  • @mackat4ck 6 to 10 year olds

  • yeah, only I was wondering because some of the concepts discused in the video seem a bit advanced for the agegroup it's aimed at!

  • agreed

  • i would hate that thing

  • This plane is not for the war so ... NASA needs more 60 years to built this aircraft!!(or more...)

  • Well they already did flight testing on the 14% model... Plus the aircraft is proposed to go into production, and the first production model would be for the U.S. military in 2022... The rate the technology evolves, i doupt it would take forever to build it.

  • We needed this airplane 10 years ago.

  • happy happy joy joy.... joy joy ha hap happy

  • horrible when 2,5 housewives try to explain aeronautics ;))) just typical feminist american crap !

  • fail video

  • Ja pierdolęęę - co to jest za idiotyzm???? I bet they believe you have to attain the orbital velocity to go to an orbit.

  • How the hell does that thing make turns?

  • a similar way to the B-2

  • Ailerons....

It doesn't suppose to slide anyway.

  • hahaha...if god cant, i dont think that nasa can make it to......

  • hes just gay dont worry

  • AHAAHAHAH they had to cut it off it had to much drag! hAHAHAHA

  • @TheGreatSteve LOL!!!

  • @TheGreatSteve back off! He is hot!!!

  • @chrispatyna Queer!

  • @TheGreatSteve Yes, I am gay and? ...

  • @TheGreatSteve No need, he already is one.

  • This is Boeing's 797 (Forgot the rest) They actully made it.

  • "i know let's figure it out!" haha that cracked me up actually XD

  • With all the millions that NASA gets fro tax payers, you would think that they could have much better educational programs!

  • This is a joke, right?

  • The only way to morph a airplane at top speed is to use a bi-plane wings two small magnetic wings and then two larger ones. Using high magnetic wings computers can morph the wings using magnetic power as they push the other wing into morph, to change the wings design. Only a small change or morph would be possible for this technique.

  • The ONLY way? You got to be kidding! Mechanical, hydraulical, temperature dependent memory materials, simple inflating are just a few extras to your magnetic proposal.

  • nasa already had the blended wing concept before boeng decided to revolutionize flight they said this place is much more quieter than today's aircraft, manufacturing might start 7years from now

  • out dated airplane concept....

  • It's a Boeing!

  • describing a concept aircraft in a kids show... ok.... anyway, i love this hall "bwb" idea! Can't wait to actually see one in the skies. I did a bit of research about it. Who is going to have the first production bwb? OBVIOUSLY the army! It will serve as a carrier around 2022! I hate the army!!

  • that's boeing, not nasa, is it? or nasa is helping boeing with it? i'm sort-of confused...?

  • Dude, where's my comment?

  • Could you put double magnetic roters under helicopter just small enough to change direction. Magnetic roter is for better oppisite magnetic pull offering better spin gyro control.

Are bi-wings coming back.Yes though magnetized on both wings and bottom wing is smaller than top wing for better control and enhanced, at higher distances.

  • thay make computers sound so great.

  • well, i think shes hot...

  • they must think they are three or they are the biggest nerds on the planet!!!

  • what morons!!!!!

  • kids dont smoke crack

  • Do you have to be a total asshole twit to be into science?

  • they are on drugs, right?

  • boo

  • what a pair of twats

  • It's a kids' show, losers. Go eat past instead of jeering a kids' show.

  • I was thinking that.

  • this was a great idea that got sh!t canned after 911. sure it would have been great to have used a 3/4 the fuel to transport twice the payload. I would personaly like to think that its this pair of anoying goons in this video that are responsible.
