  • "Do The leaves of green stay greener

    In the autumn?

In The summer, does the sun turn crimson white? ...."

  • Genius *****

  • Dude you do some of the best yes and genesis covers!!!! I got mood for a day down, but this one and the clap I'm still attempting. Keep it up!!

  • Bravo!

  • The Ancient is so obscure except to we true Yes fans. It is absolutely unique.

One of the true hallmarks of Yes' magical creativity. Thank you Chris.

  • So good, i can't believe it

  • This seriously sounds just like the real song!

  • One of my favorite Yes acoustic pieces. Thanks Chris.

  • I love all these free concerts you give us. I feel like I should send you some money for all this wonderful entertainment. If I was independently I think I would - lol

  • great job, a little to fast.........

  • Hey chris, what guitar is that, mine looks exactly the same.

  • Wow.. Chris. excellent rendition of one of my favourite yes pieces.. ! Bravo

  • molto bravo, forse un po' accelerata e meccanica rispetto alla versione di steve howe, ma molto bravo.

  • awesome Chris, got tabs for that? just kiddin, lol seems a little too fast though,

  • Very good. I like this. One of the best covers on Utube.

Come check my version of this beautiful song.

    Regards

  • Excellent, although you are rushing it a bit, relax and let it flow... then the parts will come out better, i know u can do it.

  • cheer up buddeh you,re not that bad!!

  • Wow - nice job learning this by ear. I remember fondly AGONIZING over it as I learned it years back (like 20 years back!), and got it pretty close to the studio cut. I'm a bass player now and haven't played this on guitar for ages, but you've inspired me to pick this up again - let you know when it's up and we can swap notes! :)

  • As a guitar player myself, I wouldn't even touch that piece. Way to go Chris, I am impressed.

  • thank you, hokendog

  • steve you are awesome!

  • Great piece of music ! Nicely played too !!

Come have a listent to CIRCA: if you have not already... take care

    Cheers, Billy

  • Hey, thanks, Billy! I have checked out CIRCA on My Space. Great stuff! BTW, couldn't you pick up the vocals with YES so they can go ahead with the tour? :)

  • Absolutely fantastic mate - keep going

  • Thank you, beckycuto!

  • exellent version chris!!!! I did one version in my chanel If you want to listen it!!

  • genesis cinema

  • This piece is in the book: "Steve Howe: Guitar Pieces in Tablature".

  • You did a great job!

  • Again, you've nailed it. Absolutely beautiful job. Thanks.

  • pretty awesome man! I've always wanted to learn this...

ear?? did you get sheet music or something?

  • eccezionale complimenti

  • hard song? I'm still learning it

  • I like your playing as it is very organic feeling and flows naturally. It feels nicely inprovizational.

  • your guitar playing makes me happy lol you are so amazing at what you do keep it up....5/5

  • While Dennis is an outstanding classical guitarist and his piece was played cleaner, I have to disagree with FChopin. I like Chris' playing better. It has better flow and the notes are more accurate to the original. But then again I'm a drummer so I may not be able to pick up on the minute things serious guitarists can.

  • I cared to check and I agree with rushfan30, this one is more accurate then again I'm a bassist :) Congratulations Chris!

  • how did you learn how to play that?

  • You did a good job but listen to Dennis mandarino, his playing is better IMO.

  • I agree! That was amazing! He is obviously classically trained. Thanks for the name. I hope he posts more Steve Howe songs! I would suggest anyone to view his work.

  • Come to think of it, I actually think this is better than the original. It seems to flow better than what Howe did on the album. Great job man.

  • f'n great, dude... i love it

  • I've been watching all your Yes videos and all I can say is if Steve can't make a gig they, just need to phone you!!!!....Awesome.

  • I agree Steve Howe should see this. Wow. Sure, a few buzzing strings but this is all in one take. And I absolutely love your tone. I'll be checking out all your videos. Bravo.

  • Steve Howe should see this.

  • Realy nice song you're doing . You have a great guitar I think , with a really nice sound and your technique is amazing . This entire song is an autentic machine with that tribal beginnigng and de melody progresion in same way .

Congratulations for your work . Salute .

  • Really nice. Your tone is superb. I only like this part of the song. I like the decending strumming chords and the end there around the time when Jon sings "And I hear a million voices singing". The first 12 minutes of this song. are a little much for me. I like Revealing and Remembering the best. Keep up the great work.

  • Excellent. Yes Album/Fragile/Close to the Edge/Tales. Classic music that I'll never tire of. Nicely played.

  • That's a realy great piece. Well played.
